    Brentford 4-0 Man Utd

What a start Brentford have made to the campaign.

There is absolutely no sign of second season syndrome.

Having fought back from 2-0 down to draw at Leicester, they have taken Manchester United to the cleaners.

Dean: It's fitting we chose a bright green kit as that's the face of every Man United fan watching. Sick to our stomachs.

Scandy: Any one else not at all surprised by this. United have no midfield, an inexperienced defence and a keeper on his way out. Expect more of the same!

Kris: It's already shaping up as a shoot out between Ten Hag and Lampard for first sacking of the season!

Dennis: I look at this Man Utd team and I don't feel any fear anymore, in days gone past I would dread playing Utd, but they're woeful right now. I don't think there's a single player I'd want from their squad.

Ollie: When you have a rotten spine of players that has infected Man Utd for a long time, you can always expect to fail. This should come as no surprise.

Andrew: If *Brighton* and *Brentford* are able to take Manchester United to the cleaners... what will the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City do to this team? Utterly clueless. United are going to be relegation candidates & Erik ten Hag will be out by Christmas.

No sign of a United improvement. Brentford win a corner which they cannot get clear and David de Gea is forced to save at his near post.

What a miserable experience for the Man Utd fans travelling on a day like this with all the strikes and seeing their team be so pathetic.

Soren: Must be very frustrating for Christian Eriksen to see he left Brentford for a lesser team.

Large: Can we stop treating Man United like they are a world class team? They are bang average. Give other teams the credit they deserve. To say the performances or the score line is unacceptable makes me think you're expecting Man United to win all the time.

Rachel: Well done Brentford, great to see a superbly run, well organised club and team doing so brilliantly.

Anon: How long do we continue until someone has the strength to drop Maguire? It's not confidence he is missing, rather the consistency to produce for a club that has to deliver trophies.

Jonathan: Surely Ten Hag is not going to beat de Boer's record at Palace of 4 straight defeats!!!

DSSBrooks: The team selection basically told me Ten Hag isn’t up to the job. Did he not do any research before his job interview and watch these players last season? How could he pick almost the same team after Sunday? Clueless.

Anon: Man U are typical of the approach of modern day football: Throw money at the situation and hope your problems melt away. 40 or 50 years ago British talent and coaching was sufficient for the likes of Man U, Man C, Liverpool and Notts Forest to win European trophies. Now you would struggle to choose an England side from those teams' first team regulars.
