Two games into the season, Manchester United have hit rock bottom.

They are being destroyed by Brentford.

David de Gea spreads himself to beat away a set-piece but United have conceded another free-kick which they just about scramble clear. Corner to the home side.

There are obviously still many fundamental flaws at Man Utd, how come the board are happy with this mediocrity? Is it because regardless of results the money still comes in?

United are unsettled. Brentford are winning all the 50-50 challenges. They win another free-kick within scoring range after another needless foul by Bruno Fernandes.

Relief for United as the referee stops play for a drinks break. A chance for Erik ten Hag to gather his players together and try and sort this mess out.

Brentford really are a breath of fresh air. They play with such energy and zip, and they are not giving United's players any time on the ball.

It's a hard watch if you're a Red Devils fan.

Josh: I wish I could say this is an upset. I wish I could say this is surprising. I wish I could say it's just an off day for United. But NONE of this surprises me any more. United are terrible. That being said... take nothing away from Brentford so far.
