Normally 4-0 down its over, but its worse on a day like this when it's sweltering. A comeback is unlikely with over half the game to go.

    'Ole, Ole, Ole'.

Brentford's fans are in dreamland as their team continues to out-pass, put-play, out-muscle their opponents.

Erik ten Hag remains glued to his seat. What on earth does he say to his players at half-time?

Anon: How long before United blame the kits for being the same colour as the grass? This is awful.

Anon: This is not a surprise - a club that has been run properly and built step by step over 5 years against a club being run as a shambles and no clear strategy over the past 5 years. This is not the United of the 90's/00's this is an average team.

Seth: When we say De Gea is not good for the system that Erik ten Hag wants to play, some people think we have an agenda against him. He can't play from the back and can't control his area and that's why he lost his spot in the national team.

Sushant: We are done as a football club... absolutely done

Mike: Perhaps it’s time to concede that it’s always been the players and not so much the numerous managers?

    Bryan Mbeumo

    Wow. Wow. Wow.

Absolutely brilliant by Brentford who hit United on the counter as Ivan Toney plays a sensational ball for Bryan Mbeumo.

Mbeumo is under pressure from Luke Shaw but he still manages to tuck it beyond David de Gea.

    Incredible scenes.

There are obviously still many fundamental flaws at Man Utd, how come the board are happy with this mediocrity? Is it because regardless of results the money still comes in?

Josh: I wish I could say this is an upset. I wish I could say this is surprising. I wish I could say it's just an off day for United. But NONE of this surprises me any more. United are terrible. That being said... take nothing away from Brentford so far.
