How did that stay out?

A superb full-stretch save from Dean Henderson to keep out Said Benrahma's attempt and the ball falls invitingly for Jarrod Bowen who looks certain to score but Harry Toffolo makes a vital clearance off the line.

This time it's Taiwo Awoniyi who heads narrowly wide.

Forest have been away from the big time for 23 years but they look hell bent on making up for lost time.

The West Ham captain is cautioned for bringing down Jesse Lingard and it's another free-kick to Forest.

Lewis O'Brien is all over Michail Antonio. Too much for the referee's liking and it is West Ham who now have a free-kick just outside the box.

Aaron Cresswell likes the look of this and it's not a bad effort.

Now Forest have won a free-kick about 30 yards out. Neco Williams is standing over it but he balloons it out of play.

But the big one was 'Forest are back'.

Indeed they are. What a day this promises to be.

Steve Cooper is incredible. To be able to take the job on for a team that is struggling and to take them to these lengths is an incredible feat. Players believe in managers and in the system and it can really make a difference for them. So fair play to him, he's now faced with the Premier League coming in as underdog. He's won the chance to have the ultimate test.

The last time Nottingham Forest were in the Premier League they had Dave Beasant playing in goal for the majority of their games. The fact he is now 63 tells its own story.

What an atmosphere. The City Ground is bouncing as Steve Cooper walks out early on his own to take his place in the dugout. Meanwhile, the players are gathering in the tunnel. Expect the roof to go off any moment now.
