This would have been a confidence boost for Eddie Nketiah, running on to a pass in the box but seeing his shot saved by Mark Travers.

Arsenal will likely drop points to the likes of Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea so it's important to pick up points against the so called lesser teams. Dropping points against mid table and relegation fodder is what costs you European places. Beat them and you can afford to drop points against the top six. This is Arsenal doing a good job of business as usual. Remember points mean prizes!

Arsenal fans continue to sing and dance in the sunshine as Arsenal stay on the attack. You would have put your mortgage on Gabriel Jesus scoring there, a brilliant save but it should have been 4-0.

Final two changes for Arsenal
Albert Sambi Lokonga and Kieran Tierney make way for Granit Xhaka and Bukayo Saka.

Alf: Bold shout but Arsenal top going in to the World Cup. Guarantee it.
Jason: I think with their fixtures Arsenal will be top by the time the World Cup starts. But after then the best squads will catch them I hope.
Imer: Arsenal looking very very good.

It's Marcus Tavernier who steps up...and ripples the net!
On the wrong side.
Some of the home fans thought it was in.

Ryan Christie brought down by Thomas Partey and now Bournemouth have a free-kick in a very good position on the edge of the box.

Pascal: This is what happens when you set a plan, have belief in the manager, invest in youth, and give the club an identity too. There’s a positivity and buzz around Arsenal, and it is showing throughout the whole club.
Andy: Sam in MK is bang on. Most Arsenal fans aren't living in cloud cuckoo land but we're certainly happy with the clearly evident progress made. Sounds like there's a lot of sour grapes out there.
Iain: It may 'only' be Palace, Leicester & Bournemouth, but nine points out of nine is obviously better than zero out of nine and we have a team playing with confidence, so as an Arsenal fan, I am already a lot happier and optimistic about this season than last.

The result isn't in any doubt but Arsenal will want to keep a clean sheet, last season Arsenal conceded as many goals as Watford who are relegated and more than Burnley who are also relegated.
They need to clean it up if they are to challenge for this champions league place and maybe more this season. Still plenty of energy in this Bournemouth team despite being 3 goals down.
Bournemouth 0-3 Arsenal
Aaron Ramsdale preserving his clean sheet here, gathering a shot at the near post from Jordan Zemura.

Glenn Murray
Former Crystal Palace striker on BBC Radio 5 Live
Emile Smith Rowe will want to see action on the pitch, he'll feel the pressure but Arsenal without a doubt the right place for him to progress his career. Mikel Arteta will look after him, put him in the right times but now is just not his time.

Now Aaron Ramsdale has to stretch, it's only taken Bournemouth 79 minutes to force him into a meaningful stop.
The England goalkeeper dives high to his left to tip away Kieffer Moore's looping header.
It was going wide but Ramsdale wanted to make sure.

A glimmer for Bournemouth as Granit Xhaka gives the ball away but Marcus Tavernier screws wide from a promising position.

If you're wondering why so many Fantasy updates in the live this year, well I've gone against my previous belief of it being a waste of time and made a team.
Bukayo Saka is getting the boot though, had enough.

Rezaa: Arsenal lost their first 3 games last season, scoring no goals, and people called us relegation candidates. We're winning our first three this season, and we're over-hyping our team. We've trusted the process, allow us to celebrate it.
Anon: Arsenal fans excited about the process working. Not challenging for the league, but looking progressively stronger and more consistent. Just three good performances and supporters of other teams already trying to suck the wind from our sails... must be better than we think.
Bournemouth 0-3 Arsenal
A triple sub for Arsenal.
Eddie Nketiah, Emile Smith Rowe and Takehiro Tomiyasu enter the action.
Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli and Ben White make way.

You know I'm starting to think people just want any excuse to moan about Arsenal, for the past few years we demanded improvements and were accused of being too negative, now we're being positive and we're getting carried away and/or are deluded. Can't win can we?
Ed
There's no middle grounds for football fans is there? Reality is that Arsenal are a better team than last season when they almost came 4th, so it's highly likely they'll challenge again for top four and probably get it but Champions...not this season!
Chris
Why shouldn't Arsenal fans be happy and bigging the team up? This time last year we had lost three games and not scored a single goal..
