Southampton
Southampton's Romeo Lavia: "It is an amazing feeling to bounce back from the defeat at the weekend. I have not scored in a long time, so what a feeling to score here at home and in front of my family as well.
"I'll be honest I don't really score like that even in training but today was my lucky day, it went in.
"We don't stop. It is about the spirit of the team, we always communicate and tell each other to keep pushing to the end. We are building a great core in the team, we keep building."

This is being played right on the edge. Both sides clearly still feel they can nick it.

Southampton's Adam Armstrong, speaking to BT Sport: "We knew it would be a tough night tonight. Chelsea are a tough opposition but the lads dug deep. Nights like this we won't forget. It was frustrating on Saturday [against Manchester United], we had a few chances. That is football. We dug deep tonight.
"The lads are working hard, we have a lot of youth. Romeo [Lavio] has been top class since he has come in. We know how hard the Premier League is but if you work hard and take your chances and that is what we did tonight.
"Great night tonight, we will celebrate tonight."

With this result can the Southampton fans, a minority, who have been taking about sacking Ralph please stop and realise how good he has been. Limited budget & buying young players for the future yet still beating Chelsea.

Patterson should have squared it to Demarai Gray, and Gray is letting him know about it.
It would have been a simple tap in and Everton could have sealed three points.

Leeds' turn to attack.
They win the ball and Jack Harrison has room to run into. He has options but picks the worst of them, dragging his shot wide from the edge of the box.
Patrick Bamford, one of the men with Harrison, gives him both barrels.
FT: Fulham 2-1 Brighton
Fulham
Fulham captain Tim Ream: "Huge three points. We have a great platform now to push on. We want to make this a hard place to come for teams.
"The first goal was a break in play and we got fortune for the second one. We knew it would be cagey in the first half. We made some adjustments in the second half and came out firing.
"Playing with [Aleksandar Mitrovic] is great. In training against him is not so great. He's an animal and is so physical. Hopefully he can continue to do that for us.
"They got a quick repsonse after our second goal. At that point we just needed to settle down. None of us panicked and we had a good reaction to see out the game.
"The fans are a huge part of what we're doing. The atmosphere that we have now I've not seen before. It's fantastic to have their support. We definitely feed off it and they will be important for us this season.
"We're humble enough to know we have a long way to go and lots of things we can improve on."

Big save!
It remains wide open. Everton come forward and pick out Nathan Patterson, who is in acres of space on the left. He opts for power but sees his shot saved by Illan Meslier.

Neil: Utterly woeful tonight. Jorginho shocking, Ziyech woeful, Havertz anonymous, Pulisic an absolute waste of a player. Yet I still love the club.
Terry: We have lost to Leeds United and Southampton in 5 matches, that is a relegation form.
Anon: I don't know why people keep on saying these teams are playing so well against Chelsea, Southampton were good but Chelsea never got off the bus. If you didn't know any better you would have thought they were being fined for running.

If you're looking at one team that's going to win it, you'd say Leeds.
I have been really impressed by the midfield of Roca and Adams. The balance after losing Phillips has been strong. Good recruitment.

Inside the last 10 minutes now.
It is frantic stuff between two tiring sides.

Lee: What does Tuchel do on the training pitch all week? Another dreadful performance. No shape, no plan.
John: Chelsea going backwards this season (since beginning of the year to be honest) truly awful.
Adam: Southampton shouldn’t be celebrating this. They haven’t won anything. It’s only Chelsea.
FT: Fulham 2-1 Brighton
Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister: "It was a tough moment for us. Nine games unbeaten was a good record but we couldn't win. Our first half was not good. We were not at our level.
"When you come to this place you have to be 100% and we weren't. We are really sad but we will keep working and go again on Sunday.
"I think they were two cheap goals. In football you have to react. We did but it wasn't enough. It is always nice to score a goal but it means nothing because we lost.
"We don't think about that [finishing top of the table]. We got match by match and step by step. We will try to rest then prepare to win at home [against Leicester]. We know we have to win with our fans."
Leeds 1-1 Everton
Chance!
Everton swing in a corner and Leeds fail to clear. The ball drops to Amadou Onana, who pokes a shot on target but fails to find the net thanks to the head of Rasmus Kristensen.

Ross: I don’t have anything against Chelsea at all, but any team that pays £72m for Cucurella deserves people having a little laugh at their expense.
Salonepekin: Tuchel Out. That's all!
Liam: Against Leeds, Tuchel blamed the transport.
Against Southampton, he'll blame the pitch.
In fact, the causes of both defeats are the same: a slow and sluggish team who can't cope when the opposition presses them with hunger for the ball.
Southampton 2-1 Chelsea
All over!
Southampton withstand the late pressure to hold on for a big three points.
For Chelsea, it is a second successive away defeat.

I'm not surprised Gelhardt has come off, he has run himself into the ground. He was key in the goal.
Now, can Bamford score that vital goal?
Leeds 1-1 Everton
You can't help but feel there is a final twist to come here.
Leeds have done most of the pushing, but Everton look a real threat on the break, through Demarai Gray especially.

Tell you what, Jack Harrison is a hell of a player.
He's giving Nathan Patterson a torrid time. Although the Scottish international has played well, he's just never been given a rest in this second half.
Great game now. Both sides just missing a finisher.
