  4. 'Shearer will not be happy'published at 16:17 British Summer Time 3 September 2022

    Newcastle 0-0 Crystal Palace

    Will Perry
    BBC Radio 5 live commentator

Alan Shearer will not be happy about that disallowed goal. That looks like Crystal Palace's Tyrick Mitchell has pushed Joe Willock into the goalkeeper and the goal was ruled out. It went to VAR and the game remains goalless.

  5. goal

GOAL - Brentford 3-1 Leedspublished at 16:17 British Summer Time 3 September 2022

    Ivan Toney

    Hat-trick!

Leeds mess up at the back and Leeds keeper Illan Meslier has to come out to slide in on Keane Lewis-Potter. But his clearance leaves him stranded out of goal, allowing Ivan Toney to show all his composure to control, pick his spot and chip into the empty net.

  6. Postpublished at 16:17 British Summer Time 3 September 2022

    Chelsea 0-0 West Ham

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is watching from the stands. Chelsea could probably do with some of his penetration up front.

  7. Postpublished at 16:16 British Summer Time 3 September 2022

    Spurs 1-0 Fulham

Fulham's first shot on target of the day. In-form Aleksandar Mitrovic has a crack from 20 yards and it catches a deflection before being tipped over by Hugo Lloris.

  8. 'Billing has unleashed a cracker'published at 16:15 British Summer Time 3 September 2022

    Nottingham Forest 2-1 Bournemouth

    Glenn Murray
Former Crystal Palace striker on Final Score

That is exactly what Bournemouth needed, they weren't in the game at all. It was all Nottingham Forest, but Billing as unleashed an absolute cracker into the top corner.

  9. Postpublished at 16:14 British Summer Time 3 September 2022

    Brentford 2-1 Leeds

    Big save!

Keane Lewis-Potter gets through on goal but Leeds keeper Illan Meslier is quickly out to block and send the ball wide off his hip.

  10. Postpublished at 16:14 British Summer Time 3 September 2022

    Newcastle 0-0 Crystal Palace

    Alistair Magowan
BBC Sport at St James' Park

That looked like Tyrick Mitchell pushed Joe Willock into Vincente Guaita before he scored an own goal. The referee thinks otherwise.

But the problem for Michael Salisbury is that the incident has been shown on a big screen here and the fans are fuming with the decision.

  11. 'That's what we turned up for'published at 16:14 British Summer Time 3 September 2022

    Chelsea 0-0 West Ham

    Tony Pulis
Former Stoke manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

Let's hope it continues. That's what we need, that's what we turned up for - to have a proper game.

To my mind, a large part of Chelsea's continuing poor/indifferent form is because the club has spent too much time since last season operating as a soap opera rather than a Premier League football club. The sanctions and the threat to our existence from them, plus the takeover and new owners and the scattergun approach to signing players, has all been like a never-ending psycho drama. Tuchel and Boehly need to draw a line under all this nonsense and remind the players to refocus on football again.

  13. 'It's a really nasty collision'published at 16:13 British Summer Time 3 September 2022

    Newcastle 0-0 Crystal Palace

    Glenn Murray
Former Crystal Palace striker on Final Score

I think Guaita is going to get there but Willock is pushed into him and it's a really nasty collision.

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:13 British Summer Time 3 September 2022

    Chelsea 0-0 West Ham

Hammers striker Michail Antonio and Chelsea defender Reece James have a bit of a tussle and both get booked.

  15. Postpublished at 16:13 British Summer Time 3 September 2022

    Newcastle 0-0 Crystal Palace

Joe Willock has to go off to get a bit of treatment before returning. He and his side are very unlucky not to be ahead here.

  16. Postpublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 3 September 2022

    Spurs 1-0 Fulham

Decent chance for Spurs but Eric Dier shoots over from close range.

  17. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 3 September 2022

    Newcastle 0-0 Crystal Palace

    It is ruled out!

This is controversial. It is adjudged, via VAR, that Palace keeper Guaita has been fouled by Joe Willock. But he looks to have been shoved into the keeper by the man who scored the own goal, Tyrick Mitchell.

  18. Postpublished at 16:11 British Summer Time 3 September 2022

    Chelsea 0-0 West Ham

West Ham counter from a Chelsea corner but Conor Gallagher does well to drop back and stop Michail Antonio.

  19. goal

GOAL - Nottingham Forest 2-1 Bournemouthpublished at 16:11 British Summer Time 3 September 2022

    Philip Billing (50 mins)

    WHAT A HIT!!!

He has almost broken the net with that one.

Philip Billing sizes one up from a long way out, setting it up and smashing an unstoppable rocket of a strike into the roof of the net.

Just as well Dean Henderson couldn't get to it because it would have caused him some damage.

Bournemouth are back in it with their first shot on target.

  20. Postpublished at 16:10 British Summer Time 3 September 2022

    Spurs 1-0 Fulham

Good wing play by Son Heung-min. He finds Harry Kane, who turns and shoots but it's blocked.
