Spurs have a free-kick a good 30 yards out, which Eric Dier slams straight into the wall. The rebound drops for Son Heung-min, whose volley is held by Bernd Leno.

St James' Park was just waiting to celebrate after Alexander Isak strode through on goal there. He won't get a better opportunity than that this game, but he fluffed it.

Chelsea have had 77.2% possession over the opening 15 minutes of this game. No chances, though.

Aleksandar Mitrovic shoots wide for Fulham. He has attempted 23 shots this season, more than any other player in the Premier League.

Alexander Isak gets in behind the Palace defence after a mistake from Joachim Anderson. He has just the keeper to beat but his chip lacks conviction and Vicente Guaita saves.

Hasn't Raheem Sterling started well? He looks as bright as a button. That's a great run from deep from 30-35 yards out and Chelsea get another corner.

Let's see if he carries on his 'do something when he's on my fantasy football bench, do nothing when he's in my XI' policy. He's on my bench today.

Palace have weathered the early storm and are now looking much more composed and a threat on the break. Eberechi Eze and Wilfried Zaha are looking to cause bother.

Little happening here in terms of goalmouth action, both keepers are yet to be called into action.

The two newly promoted sides need to up the quality if they are to fashion an opportunity this afternoon.

Newcastle still quicker to the ball than Palace so far. Miguel Almiron has had three chances to pick out team-mates with crosses when deep in the Palace box and also took a poor touch when put clean through by Joelinton.

It perhaps shows why Newcastle were looking to boost options out wide in the window, especially when Allan Saint-Maximin is injured.
