It looks more likely that Newcastle are going to take the lead because they’re in control of the ball and at times Bournemouth are camped around their box. But they still have that threat on the counter-attack that can cause the hosts problems.

Not a definite penalty. I don't think Jefferson Lerma's arm was in a natural position. It definitely struck his arm and there's no question about that.

Nice and calm. Took his time and fired it back across himself, into the corner. Leading up to the penalty, it’s a great move by Newcastle. Trippier was in acres of space, and had it not hit Lerma’s hand, it was going into Isak’s path in the box anyway.

  13. Team news - Spurs drop Sonpublished at 16:31 British Summer Time 17 September 2022

    Spurs v Leicester (17:30 BST)

Spurs boss Antonio Conte said in midweek no player was "undroppable" and he has followed through with the implied threat by dropping out-of-form forward Son Heung-min.

Last season's joint Golden Boot winner is yet to score this term and is one of four changes made by Conte in response to Tuesday's Champions League defeat at Sporting Lisbon - Spurs' first loss of the season.

Cristian Romero and Emerson Royal also drop to the bench while Ben Davies is not included in the squad as Dejan Kulusevski, Davinson Sanchez, Ryan Sessegnon and Clement Lenglet all come into the XI.

Tottenham: Lloris, Sanchez, Dier, Lenglet, Sessegnon, Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Perisic, Richarlison, Kulusevski, Kane.

Subs: Forster, Doherty, Romero, Royal, Tanganga, Bissouma, Skipp, Gil, Son.

Jamie Vardy began Leicester's last game, the 5-2 defeat at Brighton, on the bench and he again starts among the substitutes for Brendan Rodgers' side.

Rodgers makes three changes from that heavy loss, handing deadline-day signing Wout Faes a debut in the Foxes' back-line. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Timothy Castagne also return to the starting line-up.

Leicester: Ward, Justin, Faes, Evans, Castagne, Maddison, Ndidi, Tielemans, Barnes, Dewsbury-Hall, Daka.

Subs: Iversen, Thomas, Amartey, Albrighton, Praet, Soumare, Perez, Iheanacho, Vardy.

Philip Billing with the finishing touch. It was actually a Bournemouth move that started in their own-half, playing with such confidence, ending with Billing finishing at the left-hand post. It's a really good team move from Bournemouth.
