It's a brilliant touch and finish from Maupay. He swivelled and buried it in the bottom right-hand corner. The defender needs to be closer, you can’t let him turn inside the box, that’s rule number one as a defender.
Neal Maupay
Neal Maupay scores his first goal for Everton.
Alex Iwobi gets the ball and feeds the ex-Brighton striker on the edge of the box. The ball bounces up in front of him and he fires a half-volley into the bottom corner from 16 yards.
Everton 0-0 West Ham
West Ham have failed to score a first-half goal in any of their seven Premier League games this season.
It's five out of seven for Everton.
Everton 0-0 West Ham
Definitely better now. Everton are back on the attack. Demarai Gray shuffles in from the left wing and curls in a shot which is saved by Lukasz Fabianski.
Everton 0-0 West Ham
Better intent from both sides. Pablo Fornals puts in a low cross for West Ham down the left and Jarrod Bowen hits a first-time half-volley over from near the penalty spot.
Everton 0-0 West Ham
This one is better but Thilo Kehrer heads it to safety.
Everton 0-0 West Ham
Vitalii Mykolenko's corner isn't great but Vladimir Coufal slices it wide to give him another crack.
Everton 0-0 West Ham
Bright start for Everton as Vitalii Mykolenko whips in a low cross and Kurt Zouma slides it behind before Demarai Gray gets there.
Everton 0-0 West Ham
Please let this second half be better. Please.

James Drew: Honestly, what are West Ham playing at this season, after such a majestic turn last season? Very poor first half. Hoping them to settle back to winning ways soon, but not hugely hopeful...
FT: Brentford 0-3 Arsenal
Arsenal
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta speaking to MOTD 2: "I'm really pleased. It's never easy to come here and win but we dominated the game.
"I said before the game that the game we had here last season was a bad day. it was a building character day. A team has to evolve and take the lesson and move forward.
"In different moments we always stick together. We had 12 first team players in training yesterday but I don't want to use excuses. But you saw today we had some kids."
On Granit Xhaka: "He has got this character and respect and admiration. He has had some difficult days which make him a better person and a better player."
On 15-year-old Ethan Nwaneri making history: "It's great. He deserves it. He has been doing great. He is such a big talent we want to keep with us."

You’d describe the game as ‘casual’. A lot of the players have missed easy passes and when players can run forward at speed, they haven’t done. No one’s been tested, no one’s tried to run in behind the defences.
Coady and Tarkowski will be fine, they won’t even be sweating. They haven’t been caused any problems in their direction. And likewise for the West Ham defenders, it’s been quite simple for them.
Ready for a slightly surprising stat? Angel di Maria has been sent off 10 times in his career.
He has been dismissed for Juventus at Monza today (0-0 at half-time).
He has now been sent off for Argentina, Benfica, Real Madrid, Manchester United, PSG and Juventus.

Everton 0-0 West Ham
A very 17th v 18th half of football.
Everton 0-0 West Ham
Oh hey, that was a bit of a chance for West Ham. Aaron Cresswell crosses from deep and Kurt Zouma stoops to glance a header towards goal. Saved.
