  1. 'Today I enjoyed a lot'published at 22:22 British Summer Time 18 October 2022

    Brighton 0-0 Nottingham Forest

    Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton boss Roberto de Zerbi to BBC Sport: "In my experience in the Premier League it’s not the first time my team play like this and we can’t win. I don’t want to speak about whether it’s unfair or unlucky.

"I say thanks to the players. Today I enjoyed a lot. I watched a very fantastic game. We shoot 20 times, we have a lot of chances. We have to work in the last 20 metres to choose the best solution. We have to attack the space better, to work in the last pass.

"You can choose the way to win. You can choose what style of play you can play. These players have chosen their way. I really like this way. This evening we’re sorry for the result. This is our way to achieve our result."

On their next opponents Manchester City: "They play another sport. They don’t play football. We want to go to Manchester and play our game. To play a good game. To try the result. 100%.

"I don’t want us to change our mentality because we play against City. We have to build our mentality. Our mentality you can build only if you stay with only one idea in your head."

While we wait for some reaction from Selhurst Park, let's catch up with some quotes from the earlier game.

  3. How it stands - bottom halfpublished at 22:21 British Summer Time 18 October 2022

    FT: Crystal Palace 2-1 Wolves

Wolves would have gone up to 12th if they had held on to their half-time lead, but instead are 17th. Nottingham Forest's draw takes them off the bottom.

  4. 'Zaha was unplayable'published at 22:17 British Summer Time 18 October 2022

    FT: Crystal Palace 2-1 Wolves

    James Collins
Former Wales defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Wilfried Zaha was sensational in the second half and at times when he is in this mood, he's unplayable.

Whether he is creating chances or getting chances himself. But on the other hand tonight, you could see what it meant to him.

He was back defending and working for his team. When they defend well and these attacking players are let off the leash for Palace, it really is a joy to watch.

  5. How it stands - top halfpublished at 22:16 British Summer Time 18 October 2022

    FT: Crystal Palace 2-1 Wolves

The Eagles are flying - sneaking into the top half thanks to that win.

Brighton, who drew 0-0 at home to Nottingham Forest earlier on, stay seventh but miss a chance to go into the top five.

  6. 'Palace had more quality'published at 22:14 British Summer Time 18 October 2022

    FT: Crystal Palace 2-1 Wolves

    James Collins
Former Wales defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Palace deserved to win the game. It was a great game to watch with both teams really going at it to get the win. Palace had slightly more quality and have come away with the three points but it was a thoroughly enjoyable game.

  7. FULL-TIMEpublished at 22:11 British Summer Time 18 October 2022

    Crystal Palace 2-1 Wolves

The Eagles get the three points after going in 1-0 behind at the break following Adama Traore's header.

    One more minute to go.

  9. 'Win would be well deserved for Palace'published at 22:08 British Summer Time 18 October 2022

    Crystal Palace 2-1 Wolves

    James Collins
Former Wales defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

If Palace do go on and get the win it would be well deserved.

  10. Postpublished at 22:07 British Summer Time 18 October 2022

    Crystal Palace 2-1 Wolves

Five minutes of injury time for managerless Wolves to save this one.

  11. 'Collins thankful for the flag'published at 22:06 British Summer Time 18 October 2022

    Crystal Palace 2-1 Wolves

    James Collins
Former Wales defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

The flag is up but still. Collins is a centre half, that's why he didn't score! He's probably so thankful that the flag has gone up because if it wasn't offside it would have been one of the biggest misses of all time.

  12. Postpublished at 22:06 British Summer Time 18 October 2022

    Crystal Palace 2-1 Wolves

Nathan Collins, unmarked at the back post, should put the ball into the net for Wolves from Goncalo Guedes but somehow doesn't despite facing an open goal and only being two yards out. A real centre-half finish.

It wouldn't have counted anyway as Guedes was offside.

  13. Postpublished at 22:02 British Summer Time 18 October 2022

    Crystal Palace 2-1 Wolves

Ruben Neves nearly made it 2-0 to Wolves at the end of the first half but hit the post with a free-kick and he almost scores here, forcing a fine save from Vicente Guaita which keeps the hosts ahead.

  14. 'Wolves not lying down'published at 22:01 British Summer Time 18 October 2022

    Crystal Palace 2-1 Wolves

    James Collins
Former Wales defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Palace need to be careful. Wolves are certainly not lying down, they keep coming forward and creating chances.

  15. Postpublished at 22:01 British Summer Time 18 October 2022

    Crystal Palace 2-1 Wolves

This one isn't in the bag for Palace just yet. Nelson Semedo's cross has to be cut out by centre-half Joachim Andersen with Wolves substitute Hwang Hee-Chan then shooting over the bar to just fire a warning to the Eagles.

  16. Postpublished at 21:59 British Summer Time 18 October 2022

    Crystal Palace 2-1 Wolves

Only Tottenham's Harry Kane (22), his team-mate Son Heung-Min (18), Brentford's Ivan Toney (16) and Manchester City's Erling Haaland (15) have scored more Premier League goals than Wilfried Zaha (14) in 2022.

Seven minutes to go for Zaha to get another one.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:56 British Summer Time 18 October 2022

    Crystal Palace 2-1 Wolves

And another change from Palace manager Patrick Vieira with Odsonne Edouard, who leaves with an assist to his name, the man replaced and on comes another striker, in the form of Jean-Philippe Mateta.

  18. 'Olise has been brilliant'published at 21:56 British Summer Time 18 October 2022

    Crystal Palace 2-1 Wolves

    James Collins
Former Wales defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Deserved applause for Olise. He has been brilliant tonight and part of everything good that Palace have done. He fully deserves his rest.

  19. Postpublished at 21:55 British Summer Time 18 October 2022

    Crystal Palace 2-1 Wolves

Michael Olise shoots at goal but it bounces off Max Kilman. Olise then comes off for Jordan Ayew with 10 minutes of this one left.

It's a standing ovation for Olise.

Don't watch Palace much but I'm thoroughly enjoying their style of play.
