No way back now for Forest!

    It's Nelson again!

Arsenal are out of sight thanks to Reiss Nelson's poked finish into the far corner from Gabriel Jesus' threaded ball from the right.

The Gunners are top of the league.

At 1-0, you felt like Forest had a sniff.

I'm not sure they do now. They're going to have to be a lot more ambitious and that will leave them open to be picked off.

What a brilliant move by Arsenal. they slice right trough that Nottingham Forest defence. Henderson meets his first shot but unfortunately for the Nottingham Forest keeper, it falls back into Nelson's path and he buries it into the top right hand corner.

    Reiss Nelson

They scored five minutes into the first half. Now Arsenal have scored five minutes into the second.

Reiss Nelson, the substitute, is found in the box by Gabriel Jesus. His first shot is saved but the ball falls straight back at the midfielder's feet and he makes no mistake second time.

Daylight between the teams. Arsenal have a cast-iron grip on this now.

Good cross, good header, good save.

Takehiro Tomiyasu slings the ball in, Gabriel Jesus nods on target and Dean Henderson grasps the ball.

The first significant act of the second half is a long throw from Thomas Partey that drops and is turned on by Granit Xhaka but too close to a Forest man, who punts clear.

    HT: Arsenal 1-0 Nottingham Forest

Arsenal will definitely not want a repeat of the second-half performance in two of their recent games.

At Leeds they were fortunate to hold on to a 1-0 lead to win after being put under serious pressure. Against Southampton, they had two points taken off them through their sloppiness.

The Gunners do have a record of W7, D1, L0 when leading at half-time in the English Premier League this season.

Selfishly, my first thought [when Bukayo Saka went off injured] wasn't for Arsenal., it was for England. It seemed like more of an impact injury, I don't think it was a roll of the ankle. I may be wrong. But it seemed like an impact injury and ever since he got that early challenge from Lodi on the right wing, he just didn't seem comfortable.

He was ginger throughout, yes he created the goal but he had a couple of opportunities to get at the Nottingham Forest left-back and he decided not to and I could tell that his afternoon wasn't going to be long-lived and lo and behold, they did make a change and Reiss Nelson came on to replace him.

Man Utd v West Ham (16:15 GMT)

West Ham have had a few famous wins at Old Trafford down the years. However, Manchester United have won each of their last four Premier League matches between the two.

The Hammers are actually winless in their past 14 league visits to Old Trafford (D3, L11).

Incredibly, today marks the 85th anniversary of Manchester United naming a 'home-grown' player in their squad, starting a run that now extends to 4,163 games.

Two-hundred and forty-four academy players have features in that run, including some of the greatest to have graced the game, like Sir Bobby Charlton, Duncan Edwards and George Best.

The most recent debutant is Charlie McNeill.

    HT: Arsenal 1-0 Nottingham Forest

    Glenn Murray
Former Crystal Palace striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Nottingham Forest wouldn't have wanted to concede so early but they have stuck to their game plan, they have stayed in the game, they have dropped deep, they've been hard to beat. Off the back of that they have tried to get forward when the opportunity has arisen.

From an Arsenal perspective they have controlled this game, they have been quite clean and tidy in possession. They have been intricate and they have been fluid in their movement with the forward players especially. They just haven't been able to find that crucial second goal here.

    Arsenal 1-0 Nottingham Forest

With 15 minutes gone I thought I'd be writing at the break about Arsenal being two or three up.

Forest have dug in, though, and had a few little moments to really scare the home side.

The Gunners are firmly on top, but the longer it stays at just one, the more Forest will fancy playing on jangling nerves.

Screams of handball from the home fans as Steve Cook blocks a free-kick punted into the Forest box.

    Arsenal 1-0 Nottingham Forest

This is a sore one for Granit Xhaka. Morgan Gibbs-White slides in and takes the ball but a lot of the man too.

It means treatment for the home midfielder and a booking for the visiting one.

    Arsenal 1-0 Nottingham Forest

Tell you what, Arsenal are just starting to dice with disaster here.

Gabriel plays the sloppiest of sloppy passes out of defence and into a crowded box, gifting the ball to Jesse Lingard. Thankfully, one of his team-mates is alert enough to get in there and block.

Soon after, from a free-kick, the ball is headed down in the box and two Forest players have a sniff before Aaron Ramsdale dives in and the flag goes up.

A shot and a half across the Gunners' bow.

    Arsenal 1-0 Nottingham Forest

Thomas Partey disappoints the crowd with an attempted through ball to Granit Xhaka that skips out of play.

This after a lengthy period of home possession that came to nothing and a Forest break that Takehiro Tomiyasu ends with a tackle on Morgan Gibbs-White.
