  1. Sutton's predictionpublished at 14:47 Greenwich Mean Time 12 November 2022

    Tottenham v Leeds (15:00 GMT)

This week Chris Sutton takes on Jessica McHale and Olivia Chomczuk, stars of football drama Jamie Johnson, in the latest round of Premier League predictions.

    Sutton's prediction:3-1

I've really not got a clue what will happen here. Spurs boss Antonio Conte says his players are tired, yet they have this record of fighting back in games this season - so that does not really add up.

I was genuinely delighted for Leeds boss Jesse Marsch that he followed up his win at Liverpool by beating Bournemouth, because he has had a bit of flak this season.

I am really not sure about Tottenham's defence but they have to respond here after a bad week and, with Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski in contention to start, they will be dangerous.

This is the type of game where either side could win it, even if they fall behind - but I am going to go with Spurs.

    Jessica's prediction:2-0

    Olivia's prediction:2-1

  4. 'Pleased for Maddison'published at 14:47 Greenwich Mean Time 12 November 2022

West Ham v Leicester (15:00 GMT)

    Ashley Williams
Former Wales captain on Football Focus

James Maddison has put himself in a position where he did everything he could do to get on that plane. He’s affected games, he’s playing well.

Whether Gareth Southgate starts him in the first game or not, that’s to be decided. But he did all he could do and I’m really pleased for him because he’s had a great season.

  5. 'Maddison making things happen for Leicester'published at 14:47 Greenwich Mean Time 12 November 2022

West Ham v Leicester (15:00 GMT)

    Dion Dublin
Former England striker on Football Focus

I’ve got to tip my hat to James Maddison [on his inclusion in England's World Cup squad] because his form has been outstanding. He’s just playing well at the right time.

He’s scoring goals, he’s scoring free-kicks, he’s making things happen for Leicester and he’s getting himself into those positions where the forwards can think ‘well he’s going to find me, he’s going to do something for me.’ He’s a good footballer, he’s great to watch.

What I will say about James, he’s got on with his football. I’ve not seen any interviews, any pictures of him everywhere on social media. He’s let his football do the talking. If he does that, he’s going to get into all of the squads.

Bowen and I've always liked Antonio but he hasn't played too much recently. Scamacca is playing ridiculous for us at the moment. I actually said last week that I like Dawson. I feel that what he's done for us has been incredible.

  8. West Ham are struggling in the Premier Leaguepublished at 14:44 Greenwich Mean Time 12 November 2022

West Ham v Leicester City (15:00 GMT)

    Ellen White
Former England striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

We've had a shocker to be fair, I'm not going to lie. Moyes actually made a good point that we're flying in Europe. That's been great for us, but we got knocked out of the cup, and in the Premier League the inconsistency has just been crazy for us. On goal difference we're just behind Leicester, so this one's going to be a real tough one.

  9. 'We play our normal game'published at 14:43 Greenwich Mean Time 12 November 2022

    Liverpool v Southampton (15:00 GMT)

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will serve a one-match touchline ban today meaning assistant Pep Ljinders will be the main man in the dugout.

Midfielder Fabinho said it will not affect the hosts, however.

"It will be normal. We have to be loud on the pitch and give instructions. We just play our normal game.

"Of course a win always gives confidence to the team. It's important to be aggressive.

"This is the last game we have [before the World Cup] so it's important to win. In the league we need to win every game.

"We have to enjoy the game and play in front of our fans."

Everything seems a little bit upside down at the moment with a World Cup about to start in November and the Premier League shutting down for six weeks.

This is Liverpool's final top-flight game for 44 days. Their next league match is at Aston Villa on 26 December.

As a result, they are serving Christmas lunch to the media in the Anfield press room today. Turkey, cranberry sauce, potatoes, veg, the works.

New Southampton boss Nathan Jones says he is "not the biggest name they could have gone for" but that the "substance is in the work".

Jones is taking charge of his first match against Liverpool today after he replaced Ralph Hasenhuttl.

Welshman Jones, 49, left Championship side Luton Town to take up the role and has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal.

He watched from the stands as the Saints beat Sheffield Wednesday on penalties in the Carabao Cup third round on Wednesday.

    WOWWWWWWWWW!

Phil Foden's corner is sent in, which sails all the way across and Brentford break through Yoane Wissa.

The pass to Josh Dasilva looks to be the wrong option, but it is perfect as the sub rolls the ball across the box for Ivan Toney to pop in the winner from close range.
