    One back!

It is a really nice move as Pascal Gross slips Kaoru Mitoma in and the Japanese winger finishes smartly.

VAR has a check to see if he is onside and he is, giving Brighton fans some welcome cheer to lift the atmosphere.

I think Arteta learnt well under Pep. Will the apprentice take his master's title away?

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 55 mins

    Brighton 0-3 Arsenal

The only negative in this performance for Arsenal has been yellow cards as Bukayo Saka picks up a yellow for a foul.

At least, surely, they won't be getting any more bookings for time wasting like Gabriel did in the first half?

A brief moment for Brighton as Pascal Gross appears to be in. His shot is saved but then the flag goes up as he had just strayed offside.

    Brighton 0-3 Arsenal

There's obviously a long way to go this season but Arsenal fans must really be starting to believe this could be their year? The Gunners just look so assured and have so many players at the top of their game right now. Frightening for their rivals.

It's going to be a long 40 odd minutes for Brighton. Fantastic from Nketiah, give him credit there for following in. That's a goal scorer's goal.

    Eddie Nketiah

A fast start to the half for Arsenal!

Gabriel Martinelli races off down the left, gets into the box before driving a shot towards Robert Sanchez's near post. The Brighton goalkeeper can only parry the shot and Eddie Nketiah is there to prod home the loose ball.

Victory in the bag for the Gunners now.

It's been a really good watch. Arsenal have looked really dangerous on the break. They've got good runners. They're very athletic and they are really top footballers. It's been a good game.

They just looked a very well oiled side. I've been really impressed with the balance when I have watched them. It's a great compliment to Arteta as a coach that he has put together such a young team that thrive together.
