I'm no Gunner, but I hope they can go all the way this season. We need another team to win the PL other than City!

Every time Arsenal have gone through on the counter attack, they have got runners looking to get in behind all the time and it just stretches the game.

    Brighton 0-2 Arsenal

Brighton are looking anything but an Arsenal bogey side so far this evening. The Gunners are on course for one of their most comfortable wins of the season.

That shot bobbled twice and then lobbed over the keeper into the net. Arsenal have deserved it. They have been very, very good. They play football in the right way. The energy to run forward has been absolutely fantastic.

    Martin Odegaard

    There's the second!

Billy Gilmour is only able to head away a corner to the edge of the area where Martin Odegaard is waiting to pounce and the Arsenal skipper sends a first-time effort into the back of the net.

That's his seventh of the season and what a season he is having.

    Brighton 0-1 Arsenal

At the moment, Arsenal seem quite happy to let Brighton have the ball because the hosts are not really offering anything once they get into the final third.

Brighton are having another good spell but there are not many spaces in the organised Arsenal defensive block.

A poor pass back by former Brighton player Ben White - who gets a few boos from some of the home fans - and it puts Aaron Ramsdale under a bit of pressure but the Arsenal goalkeeper is able to clear.

First real save of the match for Aaron Ramsdale as he pushes over a powerful Leandro Trossard strike from just inside the box. It results in another corner for the hosts but one that Arsenal are able to deal with pretty comfortably.

Arsenal have been very, very good. Brighton have had a little spell but apart from that they have been really dominated by this Arsenal team.

Great vision by Thomas Partey as he spots Bukayo Saka completely free on the right and threads a fine ball through the Brighton defence to send his team-mate clear. Saka gets into the box before his shot is deflected behind for a corner.

Oh, a move that deserved a goal as Martin Odegaard, who is just a wonderful player to watch right now, produces some great trickery to slip the ball through the Brighton defence for Gabriel Martinelli but his low ball across the face of goal is cleared.

Brilliant stuff from the league leaders.
