I just feel that there needs to be a change in Man City's midfield. They seem a little bit slower to react and aren't really getting on the ball.

Mjelde is so experienced and takes spot kicks for her national team. She dispatched it really well.

Mjelde thumps the penalty to Roebuck's right, giving the diving goalkeeper almost no chance to put Chelsea 2-0 ahead!
The decision was made because of a City handball in the box. Ingle had tried her luck with a shot that took a deflection and looped up, forcing Roebuck to tip the ball over the crossbar.
City thought that had been the end of that but Ingle appealed while pointing to her arm, clearly feeling there had been an infringement. The officials agreed with her version of events.

This could be the goal that seals this contest. Mjelde places the ball on the spot after Chelsea are awarded a penalty, the cause of which is not entirely clear on first glance.

She performed a little stepover on her right, then tried to curl it to the back post on her left foot.
She actually scored one in pre-season out in America. That's what she is capable of doing and that's why she is in the team.

Kirby collects the ball beyond the halfway line and motors towards the penalty area, needing no further invitation to take aim with a strike that arcs narrowly over the crossbar.
The crowd audibly enjoyed that one.

Reiten swings in a cross from deep on the left. Ouahabi nods it away unconvincingly, finding James outside the penalty area on the opposite side, whose shot curls narrowly wide of the far post!
