    Everton have signed 21-year-old midfielder James Garner from Manchester United for an undisclosed fee.

    He is the eighth summer signing at Goodison Park.

    Last season he helped Nottingham Forest win promotion to the Premier League.

    Southampton have completed their fourth summer signing from Manchester City - and their second today.

    The latest is Spain Under-19 full-back Juan Larios for £6m.

    The 18-year-old joined City from Barcelona two years ago but never made a first-team appearance.

    He joins Gavin Bazunu, Romeo Lavia and Samuel Edozie in making that move.

    Liverpool have signed Brazil midfielder Arthur Melo on loan from Juventus for the rest of the season.

    Arthur, 26, joined the Italian club from Barcelona in 2020 and made 31 appearances last season.

    He also helped Brazil win the Copa America title in 2019.
