Tottenham boss Antonio Conte, speaking to BT Sport: "The match was a good match. We played a match with great intensity, we didn't allow them to play their football or press a lot in every area of the pitch.

"At the same time we have to be more clinical. We created many chances to score. At the end we are talking about a draw. It is a good draw because it is not easy to play away with the atmosphere. We played a good game but if you don't score you don't win.

"The most important thing for me is to create chances. There are moments you are more clinical, there are moments like in the game against Arsenal and today you create chances but make a mistake with the last pass.

"It is important to create chances, the game was good for us and we played with a great personality. We will see in one week, we have another game against them."

Inter Milan edged out Barcelona to leave the Spanish club at risk of a second successive group-stage elimination in the Champions League.

Hakan Calhanoglu's strike in first-half stoppage time was the difference at the San Siro, firing in low from 25 yards.

The visitors thought they had rescued a point when Pedri scored in the second half, however it was ruled out by VAR following a handball by Ansu Fati.

Defeat leaves Barcelona third in Group C, three points behind Inter.

Inter manager Simone Inzaghi came into the game under pressure, with the club ninth in Serie A after losing four of their eight league games this season.

Napoli came from behind to demolish Ajax in the Champions League and continue their sensational start to the season.

Mohammed Kudus gave the Dutch side an early lead but Giacomo Raspadori headed in an equaliser, Giovanni di Lorenzo put Napoli ahead and Piotr Zielinski made it 3-1 just before the break.

Raspadori curled in his second and then set up Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to score. Ajax's Dusan Tadic was sent off before Giovanni Simeone netted a sixth.

Napoli, who had a squad rebuild in the summer as youngsters replaced several veterans, are unbeaten in all competitions this season.

Luciano Spalletti's side top Serie A and Champions League Group A, where they have scored 13 goals in three wins and sit three points above Liverpool - who beat Rangers 2-0.

This was Ajax's biggest European defeat, their heaviest defeat in any competition since 1964 and their joint largest home loss.

Every time I've watched Spurs this season, they've been brilliant and effective. Even though they've drawn a blank tonight, and against Sporting in their last group game, as long as they're creating chances that's all that matters. There won't be any panic stations just yet.

Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris (20) became only the second French goalkeeper to register 20+ clean sheets in the Champions League after Fabien Barthez (21).

Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, speaking to BT Sport: "Not 100% happy. I thought we prepared until the box well. We found the spaces well, we tried to get in behind or between them and we did that well but the opportunities we had we didn't use them to get a clear chance. Disappointing, it is easy to say, but the last bite needed a bit.

"I thought we took the game well, we tried to be dominant. We tried to find the spaces and tried to overcome the first pressure.

"If you cannot win, you don't lose the game. The team presented themselves very maturely. From that side I thought it was good. We are here and we are competing, we want to win every game we play but today we couldn't do it."

Both Liverpool and Tottenham are now second in their respective groups. Barcelona have a lot of work to do if they are not going to drop down from the Champions League into the Europa League for a second successive season.

Tottenham have failed to score in two of their three games, only Rangers (three) have failed to score more often in the Champions League this season.

Spurs attempted 11 shots in this game, their lowest total in a CL match in 2022-23.

Inter Milan move three points above Barcelona in the battle for second place thanks to Hakan Calhanoglu's screamer in first-half injury time.

Galeno scored a late second as Porto beat Bayer Leverkusen 2-0. The German side ended with 10 men as Jeremie Frimpong was shown a second yellow card.

Liverpool cruised to a confidence-building victory in the Champions League as Rangers were comfortably dismissed at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp's side have struggled for form this season but a disappointing Rangers represented the perfect opposition to return to winning ways as Liverpool moved closer to a place in the knockout phase.

Rangers fans travelled to Merseyside in their thousands and backed their side noisily throughout an embarrassingly one-sided encounter which Liverpool should have won far more emphatically.

Trent Alexander-Arnold put Liverpool ahead after only seven minutes when he clipped a perfect 25-yard free-kick into the top corner and only veteran keeper Allan McGregor kept Rangers in range with a succession of saves, frustrating Darwin Nunez in particular.

Liverpool finally got the second goal they deserved eight minutes after the break when Mohamed Salah scored from the penalty spot after Leon King fouled Luis Diaz.

Rangers, who have not won a point from three games in Group A, had a late chance when Kostas Tsimikas cleared off the line from Rabbi Matondo but they were outclassed by a Liverpool side who did not need to hit top gear to win.

Napoli's sensational start to the season continues as a comeback thrashing of Ajax keeps them top of Liverpool's group on nine points.

This was Ajax's joint biggest home defeat ever.

Club Bruges are top of the group... and Atletico Madrid are bottom.

Barcelona are really hating this VAR. Earlier they had a goal disallowed for handball and now they've been denied a penalty for what appeared to be a Denzel Dumfries handball.

Tottenham have played three Champions League games this season, won one, lost one and now drew one. Goalless in Germany. Spurs take a hard-won point.
