    Eintracht Frankfurt 0-0 Tottenham

Richarlison wants a penalty after Makoto Hasebe slid in on him, but the Brazilian had already sliced a shot away before Hasebe got to him so there is no joy from the appeal.

    Inter Milan 1-0 Barcelona

The San Siro erupts as Hakan Calhanoglu drums an absolute stunner into the bottom corner from 25 yards.

The Inter midfielder takes a touch and then pulls the trigger for his first Champions League goal in five years.

Barcelona are in a bit of bother.

    Eintracht Frankfurt 0-0 Tottenham

Inches away from a Tottenham goal. Richarlison nutmegs a defender, it falls to Emerson Royal and his cross is behind Son Heung-min but finds Ivan Perisic instead it.

Perisic's shot takes a deflection and dribbles agonisingly past the post.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg gets a yellow for Tottenham, a very soft one.

    Eintracht Frankfurt 0-0 Tottenham

A nervous moment for Tottenham as Hugo Lloris dashes out of his box and slices a kick but gets away with it.

At the other end, striker Harry Kane, tightly marked, still has the skill to backheel a lay-off for Son Heung-min, who hits it first time right on the edge of the area.

It's a great strike, Kevin Trapp in the home goal can only watch on but Son's effort is just wide. Great play, so unlucky.

    Inter MIlan 0-0 Barcelona

Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele slams a shot into the side-netting.

Robert Lewandowski has been quiet so far.

Neither side has had a shot on target yet. Tight.

    Inter Milan 0-0 Barcelona

Inter Milan think they have the lead as Joaquin Correa runs onto a ball from the halfway line and goes round Marc-Andre ter Stegen before slotting in.

But sadly for him he was just offside as Barca's defence were all pretty much on the opposition half.

Tottenham are getting closer. Great forward play from Harry Kane. He receives the ball with his back to goal, is strong enough and smart enough to spin and get a shot away from just outside the penalty area, but he pulls the strike just wide.

Nicholas Walker: I honestly don't see what Conte sees in Royal. He is nervous with the ball and has no positional sense without it

    Eintracht Frankfurt 0-0 Tottenham

A great chance for Tottenham. Son Heung-min is free in the box on the right side and it is unselfish from him as he looks to square it for Harry Kane.

But there is too much fizzed on the cross and Kane, sliding in, is unable to get a touch to convert it and then has to take evasive action to not crash into the post.

    Inter MIlan 0-0 Barcelona

That penalty shout I mentioned a minute ago goes to the VAR. The referee goes to the monitor and says 'no penalty' for Eric Garcia's handball.

But the reason it's not a penalty is because of a Joaquin Correa offside beforehand. Garcia did handle it.

    Inter MIlan 0-0 Barcelona

Chances at both ends, first Robert Lewandowski has an effort saved and then Inter's Federico Dimarco has a long-range volley blocked.

Inter shout for a penalty for handball but it doesn't come. Barca counter and Milan Skriniar blocks Raphinha's shot.

    Eintracht Frankfurt 0-0 Tottenham

Just like the first two, Tottenham see off the third corner from Frankfurt, but it has raised the noise levels from an already boisterous home support.

Giacomo Raspadori has just equalised for Napoli. They're drawing 1-1 at Ajax now.

A chance for the hosts and it falls to Sebastian Rode who is free on the right side of the penalty area, but his shot flicks off the head of Ivan Perisic for a corner.

That set-piece finds Randal Kolo Muani at the back post and his header is punched behind by Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.

Frankfurt then win another corner - that's three in a row as the hosts pile on the pressure.

Bad news Callum Hudson-Odoi fans, VAR has stepped in and ruled that one out. It's still Porto 0-0 Bayer Leverkusen.

  19. Elsewhere in Europepublished at 20:19 British Summer Time 4 October 2022

Callum Hudson-Odoi has his first goal for Bayer Leverkusen, giving the German side a 1-0 lead at Porto.

The 21-year-old is on loan from Chelsea.

His last goal... coincidentally... is in that Chesterfield game I mentioned three minutes ago.

  20. Postpublished at 17 mins

    Eintracht Frankfurt 0-0 Tottenham

Richarlison, who scored twice against Marseille in the first Champions League game, tries to get Spurs down the field, but is challenged strongly by Djibril Sow, which brings his progress to an abrupt halt.
