In Group D, it has just finished Marseille 4-1 Sporting Lisbon, meaning Tottenham, Eintracht Frankfurt and Marseille all have three points, with Sporting leading the way on six.

We have just had a minute's silence as the players, coaches, officials and fans pay their respects to the victims of the incident in Indonesia at the weekend when at least 125 people died in a crush at a stadium.

It's all over in France where Marseille have got a comfortable 4-1 win against 10-man Sporting Lisbon.

That's a first win for the French side in Group D, where the other game between Eintracht Frankfurt and Tottenham has got under way.

Son Heung-Min will be making his 50th Champions League appearance tonight, becoming only the second Asian player to reach a half-century of games in the competition, after Park Ji-Sung (54).

Barcelona’s two away wins against Inter have been separated by 60 years, winning 4-2 in the Fairs Cup in September 1959 and 2-1 in the Champions League in December 2019.

It's a great atmosphere in Frankfurt for this one.

Inter boss Simone Inzaghi: "We know the difficulty of the match. Against Bayern Munich, despite a good game, we lost, we were not in the game in the key moments and we had to defend better and take advantage of opportunities.

"We will have to be good at limiting Barcelona and then hitting them at the right moment.

"Barcelona are a very strong team and complete in all areas. For us we must see it as an opportunity, we know the importance of the match, the group is wide open, the match is difficult but we are Inter and we will play it with everything we've got."

Tottenham’s defeat in the north London derby was not so much the sum of all fears, but the confirmation of all concerns.

The Premier League table continues to portray Spurs as being a credible top-four bet, but for anyone who’s watched us play this season, the reality is far less encouraging.

On Saturday, Arsenal were the superior side in every respect. Antonio Conte left the Emirates without a single crumb of comfort.

The Italian’s wing-back strategy lies in tatters. Sergio Reguilon has been loaned out to Atletico Madrid - where, incidentally, the boy has yet to make a first-team start.

Emerson Royal has been no better, perhaps reflecting how little Barcelona paid Real Betis for him just a few months before they pretty much tripled their investment.

As far as Conte’s midfield is concerned, the absence of creativity has turned Tottenham into a predictable, one-trick pony.

This is Tottenham’s third coach in a row to have opted for an unappealing, low-block strategy, which is made all the more confusing by the number of transfer windows that have been and gone.

It’s almost as if the Spurs board are focused on what fits their spreadsheet best.

Conte needs the players to be at the right level and at the right mindset to achieve the standards he's looking for. Maybe he thinks [Matt] Doherty isn't quite there yet but none of his players are flying at the moment.

But when they reach those levels I'm sure they will start winning games because they've been playing some really good stuff.

They're half where he wants them to be. They're not far off.

All over in Munich, where Bayern have reasserted their dominance over Group C.

They may still be failing to set the Bundesliga alight, sitting third in their domestic league, but Julian Nagelsmann's side have a perfect record in Europe.

In the other early kick-off, Marseille, playing behind closed doors after crowd trouble at an earlier match, are leading 3-1 against Sporting Lisbon.

There's still 20 minutes left in that one after Sporting were delayed by traffic which forced kick-off to be pushed back.
