Well Roma were 2-0 down by now when they came to Bodo a year ago, so Arsenal are faring better than them so far.

However, it hasn't been one of the most thrilling games as yet.

Matt Turner sends a clearance out of play as he is put under a little bit of pressure.

Bodo/Glimt then come forward down the right as Ola Solbakken puts a decent ball into the box and there's plenty of yellow shirts there but Arsenal are able to clear.

Albert Sambi Lokonga slips the ball through for Eddie Nketiah but the pass is a little overhit and the goalkeeper is able to collect ahead of Nketiah.

Just over a quarter of an hour gone and no real chances yet.

An early change for Bodo/Glimt. Ulrik Saltnes is clearly struggling with an issue with the hosts hoping he would make it through the game but he has to come off and is replaced by Albert Gronbaek.

A nice little exchange of passes inside the Bodo/Glimt box. Martin Odegaard has the ball before playing it back to Albert Sambi Lokonga, who fires well wide.

Bodo/Glimt are clearly targeting the Arsenal right and they attack down there again with Amahl Pellegrino in space. He finds Ulrik Saltnes but the midfielder is quickly closed down.

The home crowd are certainly up for this and making plenty of noise in these early stages.

Arsenal still seem to be getting a feel for the surface but, despite that scare, they are in control of possession.

Oooh, danger for Arsenal!

Amahl Pellegrino is picked out by a great ball down the left and the forward gets into the box before squaring. There's three in the box but Arsenal manage to scramble behind the danger.

An early opportunity for Arsenal as Bukayo Saka makes a really good run to get in behind the defence down the right. The keeper comes out and Saka hooks the ball across the face of goal but the whistle goes for a foul.

Right then, off we go in tonight's Europa League action.

Fans flooding over to Old Trafford tonight will be hoping Erik ten Hag's team makes lighter work of this fixture than they did last week.

United trailed 1-0 at half time but pulled it back to win 3-2 in Cyprus thanks to two goals from Marcus Rashford and one from Anthony Martial.

Martial will be missing tonight after picking up another injury which is a real blow to the Frenchman.

United are currently second in Group E, behind Spanish team Real Sociedad, so a win tonight would be a big lift for their qualification hopes.

It is a sell out at Bodo/Glimt's 8,200 capacity stadium and we are just being treated to a nifty fireworks display before the teams come out.

Around 200 Arsenal fans have made the journey to Norway. Fair play.

For somewhere north of the Arctic Circle I thought it would be colder than it is in Bodo, where it is currently a reasonable 8C.

It's not that much warmer here in Salford.

Mikel Arteta speaking to BT Sport about Martin Odegaard playing again in his home nation: "It''s a special game for him, it's always special to be back home. Hopefully he can produce a strong performance in front of a home crowd."

On Eddie Nketiah being in the starting line-up: "He's a player that has made a huge improvement in the last year and is now used to playing at this level. He's been a good, vital player for us.

"We had 16-17 players available so for sure there are a lot of players who had to start the game.

Bodo/Glimt boss Kjetil Knutsen has been very complimentary of Arsenal in the build up to this evening's game.

"It is perhaps the biggest match we'll play," he said. "At least it is against the best opponent. Not necessarily because they have better individual players than Roma, but there is something about the professionalism and history of the club. All the games in Europe are fantastic for me.

"We will see how much you can learn in a week and get an answer to that tomorrow. What matters is that we dare to be the best version of ourselves. Then we'll see if we learn along the way, and then at least I'll be satisfied."

Bodo/Glimt play on an artificial pitch but Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has played down any concerns about the surface.

"What we think about is how we are going to win the game," he said.

"That's it. How we win every three days, in different conditions, in different contexts, in different weather, in different competitions, and that's the only way we are approaching it.

"A player can get injured on an artificial pitch, he can get injured in a training session.

"Obviously, we do what we have to do to protect the players as much as we can, but at the end of the day, for sure we are going to have 11 players on the pitch."
