Cristiano Ronaldo got his 700th club goal against Everton this weekend and he will want to add to that tally tonight.

He's handed a start in Anthony Martial's absence but can he put in a performance worthy of retaining a place in the side?

This is the first of three games in a row at Old Trafford for United so there will be plenty of Ronaldo fans in the crowd.

The hosts make a change in attack as Runar Espejord is replaced by Lars-Jorgen Salvesen, who the home fans will be hoping has remembered to bring his shooting boots, unlike his team-mates.

The Bodo/Glimt fans haven't stopped singing all night. Their cheers turn to boos momentarily as they feel Arsenal are running down the clock a bit.

Clever run by Hugo Vetlesen to get between the Arsenal centre-backs again but he's not able to get the crucial touch to prevent the ball running through to Matt Turner.

Arsenal haven't really got going in this half and the hosts have had the better opportunities.

Another double change for Arsenal as Marquinhos and Takehiro Tomiyasu both come on for Martin Odegaard and Ben White.

Just over 20 minutes to go and this game is far from decided.

Arsenal move the ball well for the first time in this half but Martin Odegaard's attempted through ball for Eddie Nketiah is cut out.

Bodo/Glimt then counter quickly but the final ball lets them down as Ola Solbakken is beaten to it by Matt Turner.

Seth Gogo Egoeh: Considering McTominay is suspended for Sunday, it's risky playing Casemiro. Casemiro should have been rested, but I hope he comes through this game unscathed.

Mikel Arteta is a little concerned by this spell for the hosts as he turns to his bench.

Grant Xhaka and Gabriel Martinelli are sent on for Bukayo Saka and Reiss Nelson.

Huge chance for the hosts!

Arsenal are caught out by a ball over the top and it is chested down for Hugo Vetlesen, who has just Matt Turner to beat but volleys over.

Bodo/Glimt coach Kjetil Knutsen falls to his knees and slams the grass in frustration. He knows that was a big chance to equalise.

With West Ham clear at the top of their Europa Conference League group, boss David Moyes rotates his squad with eight changes from the 11 that began the 3-1 win over Fulham at the weekend.

Only Aaron Cresswell, Lucas Paqueta and Jarrod Bowen keep their places in the side. There is no spot in the squad for striker Michail Antonio after he missed training earlier this week because of illness.

Fabio Silva, on loan from Wolves, starts up front for the visitors.

This time it is Ola Solbakken who goes close as he cuts in from the right and bends a shot just over.

A disappointing first corner of the half for Arsenal as Reiss Nelson sends it far too deep and it comes to nothing.

Kieran Tierney then has a pop from distance but shoots well wide.

Bodo/Glimt fans have ramped up the noise a notch. While there is only one goal in it there is hope for them.

Erik ten Hag has made three changes to the Manchester United side who beat Everton on the weekend.

Ronaldo starts up front, while Casemiro retains his place in midfield.

Tyrell Malacia returns at left-back, replacing Luke Shaw, Fred comes in for Christian Eriksen in midfield and the injured Anthony Martial is not in the squad.

The pass looked to be the better option there. Arsenal escape.

Steady start to this half, not much to get excited about yet. Mikel Arteta won't be too bothered about a big performance from his side, getting away with the three points and no injuries will be enough.

The away fans have travelled in numbers and have already filled out most of their end well over an hour before kick-off here at Old Trafford.

They are draped in green, have brought banners and have been chanting loudly for the last 10 minutes.

Cristiano Ronaldo has the chance to go for club goal number 701 as he starts tonight.

Lifelong West Ham fan Flynn Downes is named in David Moyes starting line-up at the London Stadium this evening.

The 23-year-old arrived joined in the summer after an excellent season at Chelsea but has made only two substitute appearances in the Premier League so far.

Evidently, Moyes thinks he has some developing still to do but it will be interesting to see how he goes on tonight.
