    Wycombe 0-1 Peterborough

    Joe Thompson
Former Rochdale and Tranmere midfielder on Squad Goals

Any pressure on Gareth Ainsworth will come from himself because he's spoken about standards.

He's a very charismatic man - he has that affinity with the fans, he'll be feeling the pressure and so will the Wycombe players.

Hopefully for Wycombe fans they can turn this around.

    West Brom lead!

Matt Phillips takes it really well as he collects a long diagonal pass nicely before accelerating into the area and slotting it past Dean Bouzanis.

The Baggies have led in quite a few fames this season but have not been able to hold on - is this the day their fortunes begin to turn?

Nigel Pearson's Robins won their first game in six in midweek against Preston and are looking to make it back-to-back victories at home to the visiting Lions.

From bad to worse for managerless Boro but it's a wonderful effort from Sam Gallagher to double Blackburn's money.

The big striker brings the ball down on the edge of the area and crashes home an unstoppable shot.

    Reading 0-0 West Brom

West Brom shotImage source, Rex Features

The Baggies have started fairly well in the first game since Steve Bruce's departure.

Matt Phillips and Brandon Thomas-Asante have both threatened an opener but we remain goalless.

Royals manager Paul Ince is not with the team today. He is suffering with a virus so Alex Rae is taking charge in the home dug-out.

  12. League One updatepublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 15 October 2022

First goal of the day in League One as Lee Gregory has put Sheffield Wednesday ahead at Cambridge. Just a second of the season for Gregory after 17 last term.

And the leaders are up and running thanks to Morgan Whittaker. Plymouth have scored in every game so far this season and only nine minutes needed to do it here against MK Dons.

Sheff Utd scoreImage source, PA Media

    This one counts!

Manchester City loanee James McAtee has his first goal for the Blades from Billy Sharp's knockdown.

It's not the cleanest of strikes but he wont care one jot.

The league leaders, who have lost their past two, lead.

  20. Can Pilgrims keep up their progress with another victory?published at 14:56 British Summer Time 15 October 2022

    League One

More than 2,500 members of the Green Army have made the 244-mile trip up to Stadium MK to see leaders Plymouth away to struggling MK Dons as the Pilgrims aim for a fifth straight win.

If they slip up, second placed Ipswich will hope to take advantage at home to Lincoln.

Outside the top two, Sheffield Wednesday in third are at Cambridge, while Bolton in seventh will leap into the play-offs if they beat Barnsley, the side immediately above them.

Down at the bottom, there is a big clash at the Pirelli Stadium where Burton, in 23rd, welcome bottom-of-the-table Morecambe.
