Not a lot of love for Anthony Elanga there.
He was fairly anonymous that first half.
Will he have more of an impact in the second? We'll soon find out as we're back under way.

Ross: Elanga has been given a decent amount of chances this season but hasn't shown enough for my liking.
Rishabh: What does Elanga offer other than speed (off the ball)? If that's the only criteria to play on Man United's wing, didn't Usain Bolt offer to play for United a couple of years back?
Dean: Not sure what Elanga offers to this Man United side other than pace. Malacia looks awkward playing right back. Ten Hag needs to change something down that side as that's where the threat is coming from for Fulham. Maybe bring on an extra body in midfield and move Bruno right wing where he has played the last few games.

Only a couple of minutes until the players are back from their half-time oranges.
I've literally just had one as well, to prove it's not just a cliche. Refreshing.

Aston Villa
Aston Villa defender Matty Cash: "Brighton are a really good side, they make it difficult when every team comes here. We were really good, we were resilient. The manager has drilled it into us that we need to be hard to beat."
On the first goal: “It’s hard for me to see, it looked like Douglas Luiz was pushed in the back but the referee has made a decision and we had to fight back. We did that and we got the win."
On Danny Ings: "He was the right man in the right place, now a little break and we needed three points. I thought the cross for the second was a little bit too high but we got there in the end."
On his role under Emery: "We’ve worked on one full-back going, one staying. He doesn’t want us to go too often because we’ve got attacking quality. We need to be more stable. Whatever the gaffer wants, I’ll do it.
"This club has no roof, it can go all the way to the top. We have to be patient, be hard to beat and keep climbing the ladder, climbing the table."

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery to BBC Sport:
On Danny Ings: "Today we were speaking about his best position. If he can have players to assist him with good balls he can be between two centre-backs. He played very well today.
"We are professional. Being together [as a club] is the first step I want to do.
"Watching matches in the World Cup and rest a little bit [is the next move]. We'll have one month to work with the players. We can add more things tactically and build the next step for the next matches we play at the end of December."

Aston Villa striker Danny Ings to BBC Sport: “As a striker it’s always nice to score goals and help the team. The team deserve all the credit today, to go down so early in the game, we showed a lot of resilience.
“We created a lot of chances, on another day we would have scored more goals. We were brilliant in how we defended and did well going forward. We implemented the manager’s plans well.”
On Unai Emery: “Every manager is different with their game plans. As a player, it’s great because you now you’re going to improve as a player.
“We have something to build on now. This was the perfect way to finish. We knew how tough it was going to be. To come here and get the win was massive for us.”
Right, time for a bit of quick Aston Villa reaction to their 2-1 win at Brighton earlier today, thanks to a Danny Ings double...

It's been an entertaining game of football, Fulham started the game very brightly. They are very much still in the game. They have won the ball at times high up the park, just haven't been clinical enough with that final ball in the box. If they have had half a chance, they haven't been able to put to away.
Manchester United did the opposite, they won the ball and they were clinical when they had that one chance. There was a second chance that they should have scored to be 2-0 up. Eriksen, you put your house on him normally scoring. It is a difficult finish first time but with Eriksen's quality, you expect that ball in the back of the net.

Every time I've seen Luke Shaw recently he's looked like he's going to be one of the first names on the team sheet in Qatar, and not just because he's the only left back in the squad.

Manchester United go in with the lead, but Erik ten Hag will be left hoping two misses from glorious chances in the last five minutes of the half don't come back to haunt to them.
Anthony Martial headed just over the bar when he should have hit the target before Bruno Fernandes and Christian Eriksen linked up, just as they did for Eriksen's goal.
On this occasion Fernandes played a pass to the on-rushing Eriksen who was unmarked 15 yards out and side-footed an effort at goal, but it was just past the post.
United lead at half-time, but Fulham will know they are not out of this one yet.
Fulham 0-1 Man Utd
Manchester United are unbeaten in their last 122 English Premier League matches when leading at half-time (W105, D17) dating back to 21 September 2014 against Leicester City (L 3-5).
That's more than a seven-year itch for Fulham to attempt to scratch then. They'd probably take a point to be fair.

Fulham need a lot more from Carlos Vinicius. At the moment, he has really struggled to get hold of the ball. Too many times the ball has bounced off him. He's allowed a defender to get around him and stick a boot in. He just needs to be stronger.
Vinícius had just nine touches in the first half.
Fulham 0-1 Man Utd
Big let-off there for Fulham right on the stroke of half-time.
It would have been tough to come from two down so, for them, Christian Eriksen's effort landed the right side of the post.
The Cottagers are still in this but Eriksen's first goal for United - who have looked extremely dangerous on the counter - is the difference thus far.
Fulham 0-1 Man Utd
Almost a Fernandes-Eriksen goal again.
Lovely backheel from Marcus Rashford finds Fernandes in space in the box and his visionary low cross finds Eriksen who steers inches wide.
Fulham 0-1 Man Utd
A minute to go until half-time and United playing it around patiently at the back.
They venture forward and Joao Palhinha is penalised for a pull on Luke Shaw just inside Fulham's half.

Martial's mobility, the ability to get across the front line. Not just to be a target man or a number nine, he brings that more to the game.
Is he the same finisher as Cristiano Ronaldo? Absolutely not!
Fulham 0-1 Man Utd
Ooh, sharp one for Fulham defender Issa Diop.
Tyrell Malacia attempts a shot but Diop gets to the ball first and gets whacked on the leg instead.
He's all right after a few seconds grimacing.

Martial gets across his runner and that is very very close. He tries to just guide it into the corner.
Fulham 0-1 Man Utd
United have attacked less frequently than Fulham but look far more dangerous when they do.
Luke Shaw sends in a cracking cross that Anthony Martial meets ahead of Tim Ream but his header flies over.
Half a chance that. Maybe more.
