I think with Morton's defense and the side that they're becoming, I've got a feeling they might edge it

An Inverness win this evening would see them end the match clear at the top of the Scottish Championship.

Albeit only on a potentially temporary basis with Ayr United, the current joint-leaders with Inverness, playing away to Arbroath tomorrow.

Billy Dodds' side have only scored 15 goals this season, the lowest in the top half of the division, but have also only conceded 11 - five less than anyone else in the top half of the league.

A huge night indeed for the away side who have only taken one point from the last six up for grabs.

An 85th minute Grant Gillespie penalty decided the reverse fixture in Morton's favour away from home.

At the time, the win sent Morton into fourth and put Inverness down to eighth.

Hopefully, we get a bit more action this time...

Four games unbeaten. Three wins and a draw. Three points this evening and they're joint top of the table.

There's certainly plenty up for grabs this evening for Dougie Imrie's side.

They're currently level on points with fifth place Dundee but trail on goal difference.

Meaning a win or a draw could send them up to the top half, perhaps even joint leaders, depending on Dundee's result against Queen's Park.
