The FA Cup, you really can't beat it can you?

  2. More action tomorrow

    #bbcfacup

If today's 33 ties are not enough to whet your appetite for FA Cup football, there are four more games tomorrow to enjoy.

At 12.30 GMT we have an all National League clash as Wrexham welcome Oldham Athletic, with the two clubs enjoying contrasting fortunes in the league.

Then 90 minutes later, National League North Curzon Ashton from Ashton in Greater Manchester entertain League One Cambridge United, while Woking take on Oxford United.

Finally at 15.00 GMT, there is a fantastic tie in prospect as Derby County take part at this stage of the competition for the first time since 1985. They will be hoping their trip to the English Riviera will be an enjoyable one as they face Torquay United, who are rock bottom of the National League.

  3. How did the other lower-ranked sides get on?

    • Sixth tier Ebbsfleet United beat National League side FC Halifax Town 2-1, as Halifax have a player sent off.
    • MK Dons romp to a 6-0 win over sixth tier Taunton Town.
    • Two goals from Jack Payne help Charlton ease to a 4-1 win over Coalville Town.
    • Paddy Lane scores twice as Fleetwood knock out Oxford City 3-1.
    • Burton eventually see off Needham Market 2-0.
    • Buxton beat Merthyr Town 2-0 with goals at the start and end of the match.

    Charlton 4-1 Coalville

    Talk about David beating Goliath!

That's a FA Cup upset to remember as Alvechurch, the lowest ranked team in the competition's first round - who ply their trade in the seventh tier - knock out League One Cheltenham.

Two goals from Danny Waldron put the visitors 2-0 up with Ryan Jackson's second-half goal not enough to get Cheltenham back in the match.

  6. Post update

Tom Edge has the opportunity to put the match to bed for Alvechurch but his shot is saved by Luke Southwood.

We're into the final few seconds now...

History for Chippenham. Humiliation for Lincoln.

A deserved win by the National League South strugglers. Joe Hanks' strike is enough to send the League One promotion-chasers packing.

The Blues are in the Second Round for the first time in their history.

There will be four additional minutes at Hardenhuish Park.

The cheers as Lincoln's Charles Vernam sails a set-piece over the heads of everyone were nearly as loud as those for the goal.

More than 2,000 fans packed in, the vast majority of them hoping to see history.

  19. GOAL Sutton 0-1 Farnborough

    Michael Fernandes (86 mins)

Sutton, FA Cup giantkillers from years gone by, are getting a taste of their own medicine.
