Blackburn have responded but it's 78 minutes too late.

For me, Jon Dahl Tomasson worries too much about the opposition and that's why Blackburn have topsy-turvy results and win games and lose games.

    Burnley 2-0 Blackburn

Tyler Morton whips a Blackburn free-kick into the Burnley box.

Again the ball bounces off a Burnley player and again referee David Coote gives a Burnley goal kick.

    Burnley 2-0 Blackburn

Blackburn make another change. Bradley Dack comes on for Lewis Travis.

An attacking change. Will having Dack and Ben Brereton Diaz on the field inspire a Blackburn comeback?

It's criminal defending. Blackburn were trying to play out from the back and they haven't got the quality to do it against Burnley's pressing.

It was a great save to deny Ashley Barnes but Zaroury was there to pick up the pieces and put it in the back of the net.

    Game over, surely!

What on earth are Blackburn doing?! After almost being caught out by playing from the back with Thomas Kaminski's error, they try it again and Burnley swiftly win the ball back.

Ashley Barnes volleys inside the box and forces Kaminski into a save, but the ball drops to the onrushing Anass Zaroury who fires in soon after.

That ought to be it. Blackburn masters of their own downfall, there.

    Burnley 1-0 Blackburn

Almost a howler from Blackburn keeper Thomas Kaminski.

He plays a ball short into space with Nathan Tella works onto and he turns and races back into the Blackburn box.

He shoots from a tight angle and forces Kaminski into making a last-ditch save.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 72 mins

    Burnley 1-0 Blackburn

That's the last bit of action for Manuel Benson who's withdrawn for Burnley.

Nathan Tella replaces him for the Clarets' first change of the afternoon.

    Burnley 1-0 Blackburn

Manuel Benson charges into the Blackburn box and he plays a neat ball to Burnley goalscorer Ashley Barnes.

But, with his back to goal, Barnes can't control the ball in time.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 70 mins

    Burnley 1-0 Blackburn

Jake Garrett comes off and John Buckley comes on as Blackburn make their second change of the afternoon.

Just over 20 minutes remain for them to get something out of this match.

  11. Postpublished at 68 mins

    Burnley 1-0 Blackburn

Anass Zaroury is playing havoc down the left for Burnley.

Callum Brittain scythes him down and Burnley win a free-kick in a useful area.

Manuel Benson plays it laterally onto the edge of the Blackburn box and Rovers get the ball away soon after. A bit of a waste, that.

    Burnley 1-0 Blackburn

Ashley Barnes clatters into Ryan Hedges. He gets a talking to by referee David Coote but no yellow card for his trouble.

Tyler Morton sends the free-kick that follows deep into the Burnley half of the field, but Blackburn put it out for a goal kick as jeers go up around Turf Moor.

Blackburn haven't once played on the weaknesses Burnley showed at Sheffield United last week.

They're making it easy for Burnley.

Ben Brereton Diaz is caught offside as Blackburn look to catch Burnley out.

Just under half an hour remaining and it's developed into a cracker of a match, this.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 62 mins

    Burnley 1-0 Blackburn

Jack Cork goes into the book for a foul on Blackburn's Jake Garrett.

The Burnley fans enjoyed that. They're in fine voice after Ashley Barnes' opener.

    Burnley 1-0 Blackburn

Ian Maatsen can't quite get a touch onto the ball in time before he's closed down by the Blackburn defence after he's played through on goal.

Burnley throwing everything at Blackburn, now.

    Burnley 1-0 Blackburn

This match is no longer cagey. Both sides are on the attack. Burnley work into the Blackburn half after Rovers' set of corners.

Anass Zaroury puts in another whipped ball from the left into the path of Ashley Barnes who belts a shot out wide for a Blackburn throw-in.

I'm quite impressed with that, if anything. Takes some doing given he was right in front of goal.

    Burnley 1-0 Blackburn

At the other end, Ben Brereton Diaz wins a corner for Blackburn as they immediately go on the attack.

It's sent into the box and Burnley head it away for another corner which Jack Cork heads out again but for some reason referee David Coote gives a goal kick.

That's a wonderful ball in and what a goal.

He put it into the danger area and asked Ashley Barnes to get on the end of it.

It's all about the ball. It's an unbelievable ball. It's got pace and bend and it's in the corridor of uncertainty. The goalkeeper couldn't come.

    Turf Moor is bouncing.

    Turf Moor erupts!

No sooner does Dominic Hyam clatter Anass Zaroury into the advertising hoardings do Burnley build from the back again.

Zaroury, cleared to play on, puts in a sumptuous ball into the Blackburn box which is met by Ashley Barnes who makes no mistake from close range.

    A sensational goal.
