It's criminal defending. Blackburn were trying to play out from the back and they haven't got the quality to do it against Burnley's pressing.

It was a great save to deny Ashley Barnes but Zaroury was there to pick up the pieces and put it in the back of the net.

Almost a howler from Blackburn keeper Thomas Kaminski.

He plays a ball short into space with Nathan Tella works onto and he turns and races back into the Blackburn box.

He shoots from a tight angle and forces Kaminski into making a last-ditch save.

That's the last bit of action for Manuel Benson who's withdrawn for Burnley.

Nathan Tella replaces him for the Clarets' first change of the afternoon.

Manuel Benson charges into the Blackburn box and he plays a neat ball to Burnley goalscorer Ashley Barnes.

But, with his back to goal, Barnes can't control the ball in time.

Jake Garrett comes off and John Buckley comes on as Blackburn make their second change of the afternoon.

Just over 20 minutes remain for them to get something out of this match.

Anass Zaroury is playing havoc down the left for Burnley.

Callum Brittain scythes him down and Burnley win a free-kick in a useful area.

Manuel Benson plays it laterally onto the edge of the Blackburn box and Rovers get the ball away soon after. A bit of a waste, that.

Ashley Barnes clatters into Ryan Hedges. He gets a talking to by referee David Coote but no yellow card for his trouble.

The Burnley fans enjoyed that. They're in fine voice after Ashley Barnes' opener.

Ian Maatsen can't quite get a touch onto the ball in time before he's closed down by the Blackburn defence after he's played through on goal.

Anass Zaroury puts in another whipped ball from the left into the path of Ashley Barnes who belts a shot out wide for a Blackburn throw-in.

I'm quite impressed with that, if anything. Takes some doing given he was right in front of goal.

At the other end, Ben Brereton Diaz wins a corner for Blackburn as they immediately go on the attack.

It's sent into the box and Burnley head it away for another corner which Jack Cork heads out again but for some reason referee David Coote gives a goal kick.

That's a wonderful ball in and what a goal.

He put it into the danger area and asked Ashley Barnes to get on the end of it.

It's all about the ball. It's an unbelievable ball. It's got pace and bend and it's in the corridor of uncertainty. The goalkeeper couldn't come.
