Ethan Chislett has turned in a flick-on from a long throw to put AFC Wimbledon 1-0 to the good against Grimsby at Plough Lane.

The hosts are unbeaten in six and seeking to make it five wins in seven in League Two.

Elsewhere Callum Hendry has gone close to a third for Salford with a strike from the halfway line at Gillingham.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 74 mins

    Sunderland 2-0 Millwall

Callum Styles seemed to block off Sunderland's Lynden Gooch with a straight forward foul.

However, not according to Tim Robinson.

Gooch's appeals only bring him to Robinson's attention, and the yellow card is brandished.

  3. Postpublished at 72 mins

    Sunderland 2-0 Millwall

Wickedly swerving cross from Zian Flemming prompts George Long into a swift palm of the ball over his Sunderland crossbar.

Millwall's corner is fizzed in but Amad Diallo clears and launches a break.

  4. Postpublished at 70 mins

    Sunderland 2-0 Millwall

Sunderland move the ball through the lines beautifully, with Ellis Simms running the channels to give the option.

Simms cuts back smartly, it's cutely dummied by Elliot Embleton to take the ball to Dan Neil, yet as he draws his foot back, Millwall do enough to force the scuff.

Poor end to a bright move.

  5. Postpublished at 69 mins

    Sunderland 2-0 Millwall

Zian Flemming warms up his internal catapult to haul a throw into the Sunderland box.

    It's cleared.

Millwall come again, a cross from the right though is too high for Charlie Cresswell to bring down and the Black Cats edge upfield.

  6. League Two latestpublished at 13:59 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2022

As it stands Salford are only out of the play-off places on goal difference. Ryan Watson's deflected strike has found the net at Priestfield to double the visitors' advantage.

Long way back for Gillingham who could be bottom tonight if Harlepool can pick up a win in the 15:00 GMT kick-offs.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 66 mins

    Sunderland 2-0 Millwall

Mason Bennett, Jamie Shackleton and Callum Styles are being sent on by Millwall boss Gary Rowett.

George Honeyman, George Saville and Andreas Voglsammer are the three shuffled.

  8. Postpublished at 66 mins

    Sunderland 2-0 Millwall

Almost an immediate contribution from Elliot Embleton.

Lynden Gooch's ball into the box was somehow wrestled into Sunderland hands by Ellis Simms, who then teed up Embleton.

Millwall scramble it away, and then have another lucky break as a cross comes in, Simms can't connect cleanly and Jake Cooper just hoofs it out.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 63 mins

    Sunderland 2-0 Millwall

Alex Pritchard, your work is done, seems to be the message from Tony Mowbray.

The playmaker, the gamebreaker, will be put in cotton wool now no doubt, as Elliot Embleton comes on to replace him.

  10. League One latestpublished at 13:52 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2022

Shrewsbury have only lost one of their last 12 in the league against Lincoln, and that looks like becoming 13 today.

Tom Bayliss has doubled their advantage on the hour. Can the Imps find an answer?

  11. Postpublished at 62 mins

    Sunderland 2-0 Millwall

What a turnaround. Real swagger from the Red and White stripes now.

Alex Pritchard's craft has come to the fore, and timely fashion too.

    Millwall need to hit reset.

  12. goal

GOAL: Sunderland 2-0 Millwallpublished at 59 mins

    Alex Pritchard

    Sunderland have lift off now!

Calm as you like from Alex Pritchard, wriggling across the box, waiting for the gap to appear before arrowing an angled drive which George Long couldn't keep out.

Credit too goes to Lynden Gooch who drove down the right and beyond Murray Wallace into the box before picking out Pritchard with laser-guided accuracy.

  13. League Two latestpublished at 13:49 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2022

Salford have struck first at Priestfield, Theo Vassell has nodded home and if Gillingham are to win their third league game of the season they will need to find two goals in 36 minutes.

They have only scored six in their opening 19 matches.

At Brunton Park Sutton have levelled on the stroke of half-time through Will Randall to peg back hosts Carlisle. 1-1 there now.

  14. Postpublished at 58 mins

    Sunderland 1-0 Millwall

George Long has to be sharp off his line to belt a long ball over the top into touch.

Sunderland looking to exploit the pace of Ellis Simms.

Simms holds up the ball on the left, brings Alex Pritchard into play, the ball goes right and Amad Diallo tries to go beyond Murray Wallace, but the Millwall defender stands his ground.

    Possession ceded.

  15. CLEARED OFF THE LINEpublished at 56 mins

    Sunderland 1-0 Millwall

Almost as soon as Sunderland go in front, Millwall almost equalise.

It was an excellent corner, powerfully met by Charlie Cresswell and it was goalbound.

Dan Neil is the hero, leaping to guide it over the bar.

  16. goal

GOAL: Sunderland 1-0 Millwallpublished at 53 mins

    Amad Diallo

Goal and the deadlock has been broken.

Alex Pritchard is the architect, a snappy one-two putting him into space down the left.

His sidefoot centre is helped on its way to the back post by a backheel by Ellis Simms, and Amad Diallo emphatically raps the loose ball into the back of the net.

Millwall caught out by incisive football. Nicely done.

  17. Postpublished at 52 mins

    Sunderland 0-0 Millwall

Little bit more 'oomph' about this game now, though I'm not getting carried away just yet.

Still a scrappy tendency to give away free-kicks though from both teams.

    More dynamic though.

  18. Postpublished at 51 mins

    Sunderland 0-0 Millwall

Andreas Voglsammer stomps down the right, holding off Jack Clarke all the way as he gets into the Sunderland box.

    However, his cut-back is cleared.

Sunderland's turn to break. Alex Pritchard exchanges passes with Clarke on the left, before swatting a shot at George Long which is secured at the second attempt.

  19. League One latestpublished at 13:40 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2022

Cambridge have lost all three EFL games they have played at Forest Green Rovers, and they are 1-0 down today too.

Josh March has headed in for the hosts eight minutes before half-time in the 13:00 GMT kick-off and MK Dons now find themselves three points adrift of two teams at the foot of the table.

  20. Postpublished at 49 mins

    Sunderland 0-0 Millwall

Bit of work for Sunderland to do at the back as Andreas Voglsammer swirls a cross in which is easily helped away by Luke O'Nien.

O'Nien then steps in again to swoop on a Zian Flemming pass looking to release Murray Wallace.

Millwall the side slightly forcing the issue a little more right now.
