  10. goal

GOAL - Everton 0-4 Brightonpublished at 21:00 Greenwich Mean Time 3 January 2023

    Pascal Gross

FOUR NIL! Everton have fallen apart. Idrissa Gueye plays a horrible back pass to let Pascal Gross in. He coolly chips Jordan Pickford who was left stranded.

Where does Frank Lampard go from here?

  11. Postpublished at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 3 January 2023

    Leicester 0-1 Fulham

Timothy Castagne plays a blind backpass to Danny Ward, who just gets there before the onrushing Aleksandar Mitrovic. Lucky.

    Arsenal 0-0 Newcastle

    Matthew Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

A couple of times in this game Gabriel Martinelli has been played to feet and every time the midfield have the ball, he only wants it in one place - and that's in behind. A few times they've gone to feet rather than sliding it in and just asking the questions of the full-backs.

  13. Postpublished at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 3 January 2023

    Arsenal 0-0 Newcastle

Granit Xhaka picks out Martin Odegaard on the edge of the box but it pops up as he hits it and it's skewed over the bar.

  14. goal

GOAL - Everton 0-3 Brightonpublished at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 3 January 2023

    Solly March

    Three!

BIG problems for Everton and Frank Lampard. With defenders tumbling despairingly, Solly March cuts in from the right and slots into the bottom corner with his left foot.

This could get really ugly, if it isn't already.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:57 Greenwich Mean Time 3 January 2023

    Leicester 0-1 Fulham

Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo takes too long over a free-kick so gets booked.

  16. Postpublished at 20:56 Greenwich Mean Time 3 January 2023

    Leicester 0-1 Fulham

    Huge chance for Leicester. Huge.

Out of nowhere Harvey Barnes is in on goal from Luke Thomas' 50-yard ball up the pitch. He tries to chip Bernd Leno but the keeper bats the shot down.

  17. Postpublished at 20:55 Greenwich Mean Time 3 January 2023

    Arsenal 0-0 Newcastle

Martin Odegaard tries to spread it across to the right but Joelinton gets back well to close him down. He's knocked his knee a little in the process and it's a painful one.

    Evan Ferguson

Told you he was good. 18-year-old striker Evan Ferguson has his second goal in as many games as Brighton go two up at Everton.

It's a lovely Brighton move with the Ireland international set up by 20-year-old Jeremy Sarmiento for a tap in six yards out.

It's no more than the visitors deserve.

  19. Postpublished at 20:53 Greenwich Mean Time 3 January 2023

    Arsenal 0-0 Newcastle

    Matthew Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

What a chance - that telepathy between Miguel Almiron and Kieran Trippier there was clear to see and that was very nearly a goal for Newcastle.

  20. Postpublished at 20:52 Greenwich Mean Time 3 January 2023

    Leicester 0-1 Fulham

Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has a go from about 30 yards out but it hits a defender. Now he stumbles as he goes for a cross.
