The winners in this Joao Felix loan deal are Atletico Madrid, they get him off their books for 5 months, don’t have to pay his wages and get 9.7 million to boot, and then get the player back to sell on. Chelsea would be very happy if they could strike a similar deal for Aubameyang.

Cannot understand any calls for Potter to go already. Of course, we are in a rut, but a lot of Chelsea fans are letting the entitlement and ego of the Abramovich era get the better of them. This is a completely new project, with a new manager adapting to chaotic, and team in transition and plagued by several injuries. Let’s be patient and tolerant Chelsea fans. Potter is undoubtedly an exceptional manager. Yet, he absolutely needs time to mould his philosophy and culture into the club.
