  1. Gray's impactpublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

    Everton 1-0 Southampton

Demarai Gray has been really effective for Everton so far today, playing key passes and picking up dangerous positions on the right.

    He deserves his assist.

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

    Everton 1-0 Southampton

Jordan Pickford keeps Everton in front! He gets down low to deny James Ward-Prowse.

It's the last real action of the half too.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

    Brighton 0-0 Liverpool

All square at the Amex but it's Brighton who have been well on top. Liverpool have been poor.

  4. Second-half spark neededpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

    Wolves 0-0 West Ham

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Molineux

It's not that these two have been overly defensive, just that they haven't been quite good enough in the danger area.

Given their respective positions, it would be no surprise if this game got increasingly cagey.

We need some kind of spark to bring it to life in the second half.

  5. 'Alisson didn't seem to touch March'published at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

    Brighton 0-0 Liverpool

    Danny Gabbidon
Former Wales defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

There was not much in it but it was offside. Alisson didn't seem to touch Solly March either.

No touch from the goalkeeper and offside anyway - good decision.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

    Wolves 0-0 West Ham

Let's not talk about this half. Wasn't a classic.

  7. CLOSE!published at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

    Brighton 0-0 Liverpool

The chances keep coming for Brighton and they need to start taking them. Evan Ferguson waits before taking a shot, jinking right then left before tamely placing it straight down the middle.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Leicester

The whistle goes for half-time and both sides will be regretting not taking their chances. Harvey Barnes in particular could have put Leicester ahead.

  9. Postpublished at 15:46 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

    Everton 1-0 Southampton

There are still an awful lot of nervy faces in the stands on Merseyside. One chap in a woolly hat puffs out his cheeks before a Jordan Pickford goal kick. It's going to be that kind of day.

Two minutes are added on to this first half.

Paul: The fear with Liverpool at the moment isn't just that they're not picking up the points - they're being dominated by almost every team they play. Where's the plan?

Raji Kula: If Everton fans aren't singing "Onana What's My Name?" to the tune of Rihanna right now, then they are missing a trick.

  11. A foul on Alisson anyway?published at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

    Brighton 0-0 Liverpool

    Martin Keown
Former England defender on BBC Final Score

I think Solly March actually stands on Alisson, I don't even think it's a foul. If anything, it's a foul on the keeper. But it's offside anyway.

  13. Postpublished at 15:44 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

    Brighton 0-0 Liverpool

Adam Lallana has been excellent for Brighton.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp isn't pleased with his side though. He's barking instructions on the touchline.

    Wolves 0-0 West Ham

I like Matheus Cunha, I think he'll bring a lot to the Premier League.

He's sent clear down the left but his whipped, low cross just evades two Wolves forwards sliding in.

  15. 'Really important goal'published at 15:44 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

    Everton 1-0 Southampton

    Martin Keown
Former England defender on BBC Final Score

Really important goal for Everton. But now, what is going to happen in terms of Everton's game management? How do they approach things? I think we're in for a nervy time.

  16. 'Brilliant delivery'published at 15:43 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

    Everton 1-0 Southampton

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC One

He rises about Elyounoussi and looks really strong in his approach. Brilliant delivery from Demarai Gray.

  17. Lift off at Goodisonpublished at 15:43 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

    Everton 1-0 Southampton

    Gary Rose
    BBC Sport at Goodison Park

Huge cheers of joy and relief as Amadou Onana's header bounced down into the ground and up into the back of the net.

Frank Lampard's celebrations were reserved, hugging Demarai Gray who had come over for a quick drink before standing once more with his arms folded.

"Everton, Everton" is chanted around the ground. Long way to go but that could be a huge goal in Everton's season.

  18. Postpublished at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Leicester

Harvey Barnes crosses in and Youri Tielemans shoots on the volley but he lacked composure and fires high into the stands.

  19. VAR - NO PENALTYpublished at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

It's overturned by VAR. No penalty. Solly March was offside.

  20. PENALTY - Brightonpublished at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

    Brighton 0-0 Liverpool

Solly March is played in by Adam Lallana. Alisson has to come charging out to close him down and the referee gives a penalty.

This will get checked. He looked offside and Alisson might not have made contact.

Players of both sides await the decision of the Video Assistant Referee.Image source, Getty Images
