Craig Dawson's omission from the West Ham squad seems significant.

Wolves have bid in a bid for the defender, who thought he was leaving in the London Stadium in the summer after expressing a desire to move further north.

David Moyes said yesterday the bid had not been accepted but West Ham have made it pretty clear it has not been rejected either.

I would imagine once this game is out of the way, a transfer may be put in place.

Dangerous.

Marcus Rashford plays it out to Alejandro Garnacho on the left. He has space to run into and beats Manuel Akanji but Kyle Walker is there for secondary cover.

Kevin de Bruyne is clattered into by Luke Shaw. Bruno Fernandes is complaining but I'm not sure why...

Rashford has been ineffectual and the service into him has not really been very clean and tidy. He's not been given the best opportunity to get in behind.

Kyle Walker has also taken up a more advanced position to try and nullify any transition or counter-attack. There have been some adjustments from Man City at half-time with Walker playing more inverted.

A few tackles flying in. It's scrappy in the middle but United come away with it. Tyrell Malacia eventually curls it into the box but it's headed away.

Nottingham Forest make one change to the side that beat Wolves on penalties to reach the EFL Cup semi-finals in midweek with Scott McKenna coming in for Willy Boly, who picked up an ankle injury in that game.

Neco Williams is fit enough to return to the substitutes' bench after a facial injury but Taiwo Awoniyi is still sidelined.

City have obviously stepped up but I think a big change is the Rashford situation. In the first half he was explosive, he was running forward and getting in behind Walker. I've not seen it in the second half and City are starting to dominate.

Wolves have made five changes to the side that lost on penalties in the EFL Cup quarter-finals to Nottingham Forest for the clash with West Ham.
