    Huge boos at the final whistle before chants of "sack the board" begin as a sizeable number of fans remain for a sit in protest against Everton's ownership.

    At half time there was a sense of hope and togetherness here but the only sound of joy is coming from the celebrating Southampton fans in the corner.

    In the first half they could have been two goals up, and then they immediately score at the start of the second half.

    Eliot Bristol: Everton fans aren't helping matters. Yes there has been bad player signings, yes the team aren't playing well, but if your staging protests and threatening directors in the biggest game of the season, at home; you're making it worse. Everything needs to change top to bottom.

    Simon: Liverpool are embarrassing to watch. No fight or desire. Klopp needs to demand money from FSG immediately, or walk away. His inability to change failing tactics, is getting to be a problem.
