    Julen Lopetegui jumps into the air and fist pumps to the home crowd as they erupt. This is a three points that takes them from second bottom up to 16th.

    West Ham dominated the ball after the goal but didn't test Jose Sa. Next up for them, a meeting with Everton. It could be a big week for them.

    Huge boos at the final whistle before chants of "sack the board" begin as a sizeable number of fans remain for a sit in protest against Everton's ownership.

    At half time there was a sense of hope and togetherness here but the only sound of joy is coming from the celebrating Southampton fans in the corner.

    From start to finish, Brighton have been the better side - it wasn't even close.

    In the first half they could have been two goals up, and then they immediately score at the start of the second half.

    From two nil onwards it wasn't really much of a contest.

    The Hammers are now second from bottom at the halfway stage of the season.

  10. 'Brighton ruthless'

    Brighton haven't just beaten Liverpool, they've completely outclassed them. They overtake them in the table.

    Brighton were on top form early on and never let up. In contrast, Liverpool never got going, were sloppy in possession and were ruthlessly punished.

    Nottingham Forest make it back to back Premier League wins thanks to two goals from Brennan Johnson.

    Eliot Bristol: Everton fans aren't helping matters. Yes there has been bad player signings, yes the team aren't playing well, but if your staging protests and threatening directors in the biggest game of the season, at home; you're making it worse. Everything needs to change top to bottom.

    Simon: Liverpool are embarrassing to watch. No fight or desire. Klopp needs to demand money from FSG immediately, or walk away. His inability to change failing tactics, is getting to be a problem.

    Raul Jimenez thinks he's scored for Wolves but the flag quickly goes up for offside after he chips the ball over the keeper and into the net.

    VAR check it but it's not going to count. Jimenez was offside when Rayan Ait-Nouri flicked the ball on.
