More concern for Chelsea here as Lewis Hall is limping a bit.

Whatever issue he has he shakes off moments later as Conor Gallagher's ball is fizzed across the face of goal and Hall is there at the other end to hit a first-time effort that is just wide.

Newcastle stirker Callum Wilson turns Tim Ream to run onto Fabian Schar's through ball and lashes in a shot, parried over the bar by Bernd Leno. Good play.

Any time a Chelsea player starts hobbling, you do worry because they have so many injuries at the moment.

Lewis Hall wins Chelsea another corner. This one is played short, with Conor Gallagher teeing up Carney Chukwuemeka but his shot just inside the area is blocked.

Joachim Andersen cannot continue so he is replaced by James Tomkins with just over five minutes to go until half time.

Great play by Sean Longstaff. He wins a 50-50 tackle and plays a one-two with Kieran Trippier, before cutting it back for Callum Wilson. But that man again, Issa Diop, is there to boot it behind.

Crystal Palace are temporarily down to 10 men as Joachim Andersen gingerly walks off the pitch.

Nick Pope and Bruno Guimaraes are back on their feet and play is under way again.

There's some concern for Palace as defender Joachim Andersen is sat on the pitch. He looks like he has an issue with his foot and is needing some treatment.

Cracking ball from left to right by Carney Chukwuemeka to find Hakim Ziyech, who takes a touch before hitting a cross that deflects behind for another corner. Ziyech thinks there should be a penalty for handball but it is waved away.

Joe Willock speeds past Kenny Tete on the left and cuts it back for Callum Wilson, who can't make contact. It eventually finds its way to Miguel Almiron, whose shot is blocked.

The resulting corner is half-cleared to Willock, who volleys miles wide from distance.

Havertz should have scored. I thought he went a bit early. He can see that big lime green jersey of Guaita coming towards him and he knows he is going to get hit so he backs away a bit. But he should have hit the target.
