    It's a very even game.

    Fulham started the game the better, but Newcastle have just come into it since Bruno [Guimaraes] went down, they've been able to reset.

    A few of the players on the pitch were having a word with each other, a few of Eddie Howe's coaching staff were giving instructions.

    They're starting to mix the play again and are causing Fulham a few problems.

    Palace had a good 15 minutes or so but Chelsea have got back into it now. The game has ebbed and flowed really well.

    Just passed the half hour mark and there's been a decent tempo to this game with both sides having good spells.

    I can't shake the feeling that Chelsea are just not going to be able to finish the openings they create.

    I think Mount is trying to move up closer to Havertz. Havertz on his own up front is just not right for him.

    That link up between Hakim Ziyech and Mason Mount opens up Crystal Palace on the right again. The latter gets into the box but then puts his low cross straight into Vicente Guaita's gloves.

    Newcastle fans shout for a penalty as a cross hits a defender. VAR has a tiny little look and says no handball. Corner though. The corner is caught by Bernd Leno.

    Chelsea win their fourth corner but yet again it is a poor set piece as Crystal Palace clear. Graham Potter will be wanting to see better from these deliveries.

    Bruno is the key, he's the man that will make things happen for Newcastle.

    Fulham need to get on top of him, because the longer the game goes on and the more the space opens out, he will create.

    Silva's volley was superb. After two great headers, it seemed like he was trying to beat Palace on his own.

    Thiago Silva is denied not once, twice but three times from a corner!

    Hakim Ziyech lifts the ball towards the edge of the box and Silva has two headers headed back to him before he strikes a low effort that Vicente Guaita pushes away.

    The flag then goes up, so wouldn't have counted after all that.

    Newcastle are getting closer. Kieran Trippier picks out Callum Wilson with a cross but the striker's header is straight at Bernd Leno.

    Bruno Guimaraes seems to be over that knock now.

    We've seen him in the stands and now Chelsea confirm the signing of Mykhailo Mudryk. He's signed a contract for EIGHT-AND-A-HALF years.

    In the last two or three minutes, Palace have come back into it. Olise with the strike after good work from Zaha. In the end, it's a brilliant save from Kepa.

    Since I've said Kepa has had nothing to do he has just made two really good saves, first denying Tyrick Mitchell from close range before then pushing away Michael Olise's well-struck effort from distance.

    Fulham are playing with supreme confidence and Newcastle have to make sure that they don't underestimate them.

    I'm sure they won't, but it is difficult to try and get yourself up for games after a midweek- all the euphoria that went into the cup game then you're playing on a Sunday at two o'clock.

    Sometimes it takes you until half-time to get going- this is exactly what's happening at the moment.
