Given we have one of the best attack line ups in the PL, why does Conte not give them chance to perform? Many teams would love to have the attacking players we have but Conte doesn't seem to know how to play them.

Ryan Sessegnon shoots over and then Arsenal counter to no avail.

    Clinton Morrison
Former Republic of Ireland striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

I don't know why Romero gives the referee the opportunity to do that [possibly send him off].

    It's a poor challenge, a yellow card.

To be fair, he doesn't touch him. Granit Xhaka jumps it but he is late, Romero.

  7. Postpublished at 60 mins

    Spurs 0-2 Arsenal

Poor by Dejan Kulusevski, a waste. Oleksandr Zinchenko is caught out of position and Kulusevski has loads of time to pick a cross but it's poor and cleared by Ben White.

    Spurs 0-2 Arsenal

Granit Xhaka is fine and has an, um, chat to the Spurs bench.

  10. Postpublished at 58 mins

    Spurs 0-2 Arsenal

Eddie Nketiah, against the run of play a bit, has a chance to wrap this up. He has the ball in the box but his shot is easily saved by Hugo Lloris.

Granit Xhaka is down though following a Cristian Romero tackle.

I do not think Spurs changing manager would help at all. It's the squad that needs changing. It has not been improved enough over the years so has been left to rot. Lloris is a prime example of this! Spurs should have got a new keeper in, last summer if not before.

    Spurs 0-2 Arsenal

Dejan Kulusevski cuts in fron the right and curls just wide of the far post. A proper game of two halves.

  13. 'Why does it take Tottenham 45 minutes to play like this?'published at 17:44 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

    Clinton Morrison
Former Republic of Ireland striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

    He's got to score.

It's a great save from Ramsdale but he has to score.

Why does it take them 45 minutes to play like this?

Conte is a Mourinho type manager. Highly organised, prioritises defence and work rate, comes in for a few seasons to win things, has a combustible personality, and gets found out at Spurs #trophygraveyard.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 54 mins

    Spurs 0-2 Arsenal

Gabriel Martinelli runs forward on a one-man Arsenal charge and he's fouled by Pape Sarr, who is booked. Free-kick in crossing land for Martin Odegaard.

Ridiculous decision [to not make subs].

If Richarlison is fit enough to be on the bench, then he is fit enough to play 45 minutes.

This game is crying out for someone like him because he puts himself about. Not one player has done that. They're so deep, it's all Arsenal.

We talk about Antonio Conte being an unbelievable manager, but it didn't work in the first half. Hold your hands up and make the changes!

  19. Postpublished at 53 mins

    Spurs 0-2 Arsenal

Spurs really have come to life in this second half. Harry Kane involved again, this time feeding Ryan Sessegnon, whose shot is well saved by Aaron Ramsdale's foot.

The corner is taken so quickly that the TV replay is cancelled halfway through.

Why is Conte too stubborn to change his formation? It's as if he's saying 'it's worked before so it's the players who are to blame'. Earn your money, Conte.
