Patrick Vieira is not quite on his technical area. He wants his team to press a little bit higher. He wants his Crystal Palace side to be aggressive higher up the pitch to put the Newcastle backline under more pressure. He doesn't want to let Newcastle dictate the pace of play.

Zaha was getting on the ball a bit more in the second half and running at Trippier but he is such an important player to Crystal Palace so hopefully he is not out for too long.

Maybe it was just cramp. He'll know after his first run if he is in trouble. You might not want to take the gamble. If he's not right, there are so many big games coming up for Crystal Palace, you would hate to see him out for any length of time.

Wilfried Zaha is on his feet and has a little jog along the touchline. There's a roar from the home fans. It looks like he'll be back on.

Zaha is so frustrated. He made the run in behind and all of a sudden he knows he is in trouble with the injury. He is crying out in pain. He slaps the turf with his fist and he knows it's a problem with his hamstring.

Crystal Palace 0-0 Newcastle

Wilfried Zaha goes down clutching his hamstring after playing a one-two on the left. He's frustrated and slams the ground. He knows that's not a good sign. Hopefully just a bit of cramp? He rolls off the pitch to get some treatment.

Palace goalkeeper Vicente Guaita has made five saves - the first time he has made at least five saves in a Premier League match since facing Fulham on 26 December, 2022.
