Wolves' organisation is better, you can see what Lopetegui wants the players to achieve. I would like to see Wolves being a bit more dynamic when they win the ball back.

A foray forward from John Stones sees the ball eventually played to Rico Lewis, who swings a cross into the back post but it's too deep and Jack Grealish cannot do much with it.

    Two contrasting sides these.

Brentford go about everything they do in a very considered and constructed way. They are patient and methodical.

Leeds' game is all about speed and drive, trying to prompt chaos in an opponent's defence.

At the moment, the Bees are managing the game well. Breaking it up, stopping Leeds getting any momentum. There are also small strategic signs of time being wasted.

Oof, almost a glorious first-time pass from Kevin de Bruyne onto the run of Ilkay Gundogan but it's cut out on the edge of the area.

    Man City 0-0 Wolves

92% possession for City in the opening 15 minutes and they create their best chance of the game.

Kevin de Bruyne feeds a pass into the box for Erling Haaland and the Norwegian lets fly with a snapshot that Jose Sa has to deal with low down to his left.

    A good save.

Wolves manager Julen Lopetegui had a meeting with referees' chief Howard Webb a couple of weeks ago, when the decisions that went against his side in their FA Cup tie at Liverpool was brought up.

One of his coaching staff had a long chat with fourth official Thomas Bramall after the incident that saw Lopetegui booked just then.

Wolves think they are being badly done to at the moment.

    Leeds 0-0 Brentford

We've had 15 minutes but neither side has really taken control of the game.

Leeds have had the better of possession and territory, but are yet to really fashion anything from that.

Ian: I wonder if not fully fit is another description for playing poorly of late, and Pep is sending Foden a message? He was ok at the World Cup, didn't light up any games, to be honest when has he recently? For all the talent in the world is he fulfilling it at the moment?

The stop-start nature of the game will suit Wolves, stunting City's rhythm.

The travelling fans with ironic cheers feeling a decision finally goes their way as Kevin de Bruyne trips Adama Traore.

Max Wober - the January signing on his first Premier League start - looks to light up Elland Road from the free-kick, but his effort lifts over the wall and also the bar.

Hwang was away. I think Lewis has got himself in all kinds of trouble. He gets his feet muddled up. He puts an arm across the left leg of Hwang and drags him to the floor. David Coote gives it the other way.

Now Lopetegui has got a yellow card because of his actions on the sideline and his disgust at the decision.

    Rico Lewis, lucky boy.

The City player is caught in possession by Hwang Hee-chan and bringing the Wolves man down.

But hold on, the free-kick has gone the other way.

Mario Lemina is incensed and gets a yellow card. Boss Julen Lopetegui is equally unimpressed and referee David Coote strides over to caution the visiting boss as well.

    All going off here.

This time, Aaronson does bring something productive. Brentford are caught in possession and the American is fouled right on the edge of the box.

This is a chance to test David Raya.

Ilkay Gundogan is back on his feet and Kevin de Bruyne's free-kick is poor, headed away at the near post.

Brendan Aaronson is buzzing about, but he's struggling to link up play at the moment. He's knocked off the ball too easily in one challenge and then, soon after, his flicked pass gifts possession to Brentford.

Ilkay Gundogan is still down here.

Watching a replay of the incident, it looks like Max Kilman has caught the City midfielder flush on the chin with his shoulder.

Accidental? Only the Wolves man will know.

It's looks a bad one, this, on Ilkay Gundogan.

The City skipper is down and the physios rushed on to the pitch to tend to the German.

Kilman gets the ball but then he follows through with his arm and bumps into Gundogan. I don't think there was too much in that.

Good play from Erling Haaland, coming deep to see the ball before spinning and setting Ilkay Gundogan away.

    Ouchhh, have some of that.

The German is unceremoniously chopped down by Max Kilman, who came hurtling across, and it earns him a booking.
