Man City are starting to pull Wolves apart in the formation. They are finding gaps and opportunities to get shots away.
Man City always try and score the perfect goal, why not have a few more shots from outside the box?
Leeds 0-0 Brentford
Ivan Toney drives away down the left and sees he has little as regards support from his team-mates. It prompts an optimistic attempt at goal that looks to find a postage stamp in the top corner of the Leeds net by instead dribbles wide.

Not far, not far at all.
City happy to work it patiently, fizzing the ball around to feet, but Rodri hasn't read his emails.
The Spaniard looks to go it alone from range, striking a thunderous rising effort which drifts just over the bar.
Leeds 0-0 Brentford
Willy Gnonto is a really fine footballer. He makes things happen and lifts this stadium.
He shows some strength to keep hold of the ball and then some really neat footwork to send Leeds away on an attack that ultimately fizzles out.
My advice for Leeds - just get the ball to the Little Italian.
Man City 0-0 Wolves
Erling Haaland's eyes light up as he seems all the world for latching on to Kevin de Bruyne's through ball, but Nathan Collins sticks out a big size 11 boot to nick the ball away.

Liz: This is what a match looks like when a ref gives free kicks for minor infractions. He's not wrong. But there is usually a little common sense to let a game of football break out. We've been good though, not a massive reaction after Pep's venting but good enough.
Marc: David Coote is having a nightmare refereeing performance. Let the game flow.

Wolves manager Julen Lopetegui is getting annoyed with his side squandering possession too easily.
He thinks they need to be calmer.
He couldn't understand why Nelson Semedo just chose to boot the ball away from the edge of the Wolves area rather than try to find a team-mate.
Man City 0-0 Wolves
City growing in confidence now, they sense something is coming.
Rico Lewis lofts a cross into the box which Ilkay Gundogan meets, but heads over.

Chance!
Rodrigo goes down in the box under a challenge, but the ball breaks to Brenden Aaronson. He is closed down quickly, though, and his effort is blocked and the ball sent spinning away from danger.

You've got to be brave when you come to this place and at the moment Wolves aren't doing that.
Man City 0-0 Wolves
City threaten with a much more fluid attacking but Kevin de Bruyne's low cross towards Erling Haaland is intercepted by Nathan Collins.
From the rebound, Jack Grealish has a go from range which is batted out by Jose Sa, having to stay alert.

Why so negative from Wolves? Why not go and win yourselves a corner or get the ball into the box?
Leeds 0-0 Brentford
This game is still to really get going, which is surely part of the design for Brentford.
A bit of heat is injected as Mathias Jensen and Tyler Adams clash on the touchline, but it's just a minor flash of anger, a little shove and we carry on.
Man City 0-0 Wolves
Wolves have a rare attack, 25 minutes into the game.
But Ruben Neves' free-kick is flicked away by John Stones.
Leeds 0-0 Brentford
Mathias Jensen tries to pull a fast one from a free-kick from deep.
He spots Illan Meslier slightly off his line and tries to capitalise, but the Leeds keeper is more alert than the Bees man thought and steps back to catch the ball.
Man City 0-0 Wolves
Wolves midfielder Matheus Nunes is a terrific runner with the ball from the middle of the park, really drives forward with it with intent.
He does so again, but is tugged back by Rodri and the Spaniard is booked.
Man City 0-0 Wolves
Poor from Riyad Mahrez, sending in a corner which sails all the way across the box for a goalkick at the other side.
Leeds 0-0 Brentford
And now Illan Meslier is forced into a diving stop to prevent a cross from a short Brentford corner causing any problems.
Ethan Pinnock regathers, beats his man on the right and then swings over a cross that goes out of play and back in via a little bounce on the crossbar.
Leeds 0-0 Brentford
Good hit!
Brentford drive forward, spreading play wide left before the ball is worked back into the middle. A semi-clearance drops at the feet of Mathias Jensen, who catches his shot well but sees it deflect over off a Leeds head.
