Keylor Navas is the difference at the moment.

Leeds' corner is nodded away to the far side, but Leeds come again and fire a cross to the back post, where Luke Ayling meets it. His header back across goal is palmed away by Forest's new number one.

Forest are under pressure, they will want to get to half-time.

Gnonto is lively and Neco Williams is struggling with him at the moment, Forest need one of the midfield three to come and help him out because Johnson is always going to stay high.

Wilfried Gnonto is Leeds most dangerous player again here.

They are looking to him at every opportunity.

He wins the Whites a corner.

Brilliant play from Gnonto. He has combined well with Bamford. Complete air shot from Bamford and it fell to Ayling, his shot was good and then it was a good save from Navas.

Navas again with a big save!

Leeds drive forward in numbers and while Wilfried Gnonto's low ball is fluffed by Patrick Bamford, the ball falls in the box for Luke Ayling. His low shot is on target but pushed away by the debutant keeper.

Harrison has not had a good game. He has got to be better in possession.

Why play him today? I would rather play one of the new singings today if his head was turned to leave.

Brennan Johnson is always the out ball for Forest. As soon as they get hold of the ball from a Leeds attack they look for the pacey forward.

It doesn't feel like Leeds have enough in the tank this season, whereas you feel that Forest always have something surprising up their sleeves. Johnson's goal may prove to be the deciding factor here.

    Nottingham Forest 1-0 Leeds

Leeds are going to reflect on that opening half hour with regret.

They've had much of the play, two big chances and conceded from the only chance Forest have had. Again, that soft underbelly is costing them.

Forest will be pretty happy, though. They've got that all-important lead ans can now play in a way to pick Leeds off.

Sinisterra has to score. He has had two golden opportunities and it's not good enough. When you are in the position that Leeds are in, you have to take those chances.

It should be 1-1, it's poor from Sinisterra.

    Jesse Marsch will be disappointed.

    Great chance for Leeds!

A free-kick is headed away but only to Luke Ayling, who picks out Wilfried Gnonto with a fine chipped pass in to the box. His low cross is there to be tapped in by Luis Sinisterra, but the Colombian forward leans back under pressure and fires over.

    Should score.

Adams is a good player in midfield, he bites in and wants to win tackles. He leaves a bit on Boly there because Gnonto thinks he should have had a foul for Boly's challenge on him.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 30 mins

    It's getting scrappy. Very scrappy.

Pascal Struijk is taken down by Danilo with a high tackle. It earns the Brazilian a yellow card that is cheered by an aggrieved away support.

Boly then clips Willy Gnonto - no free-kick - prompting Tyler Adams to take matters into his own hands with a late tackle on the home defender. That is most definitely a free-kick.

Willy Boly and Patrick Bamford come together as the Leeds striker tries to chase a fired ball forward. The referee feels that Boly just stood his ground. The defender just happened to stand his ground right in front of Bamford with the ball long gone.

Leeds want to build up their play. The goal has knocked them and Forest can keep their shape now and just play on the counter attack. They have got that all important first goal.

First goals in games always change games and it has changed this game.

Leeds have dominated but Forest are winning the match.

It's a game that is low on excitement at the moment. Brennan Johnson's fine strike remains the only moment of true attacking quality.

  18. Postpublished at 25 mins

    Nottingham Forest 1-0 Leeds

Jesse Marsch is not a happy man. He is in a chat with the fourth official. There seems to be some word also that Brennan Johnson was offside when the ball was played out to him to win the free-kick from which Forest scored, which won't help his mood.

Still have to defend the free-kick properly, though.

    Keylor Navas gets lucky!

He comes out to punch the free-kick into the box and fluffs it, only to see the ball bounce nicely back into his grasp off Patrick Bamford.

  20. Postpublished at 22 mins

Luis Sinisterra is shoved over in the Forest half by Willy Boly, as Brennan Johnson was earlier by Pascal Struijk. No booking for this one, though.

Sinisterra has to come off briefly to get a new boot.
