You just don't see Newcastle scoring goals. They haven't created very much recently. Sometimes in this game, you'd think it was Newcastle who had the extra man. We're used to seeing Liverpool press and cause havoc. They have lacked that effort to close down. They are two or three yards off the pace.

Jacob Murphy sends Anthony Gordon down the right but he loses his duel with Reds captain James Milner.

Newcastle are taking risks now with a very high line. Mohamed Salah will fancy his chances if he can get onto a long ball.

Beautiful passing move for Liverpool but Andy Robertson just gets the final ball to Mohamed Salah wrong when they'd taken Newcastle out of shape and looked like scoring.

Newcastle have used all their five subs and all that's left on the bench is defenders anyway.

You feel the chance for a comeback has gone now. Liverpool put together a spell of possession. They'd love a comfortable final 17 minutes.

Newcastle have done very well - 10 men for a very long period. There is nothing in it. Now Joelinton has gone down. It looks like a hamstring. I think Newcastle want this game abandoned.

I wonder how many backheels Andy Robertson has ever played to Mohamed Salah on the edge of the area. This might be the first, but it's cut out.
