Blackpool became the 14th Championship club to change manager this season when they sacked Michael Appleton on Wednesday.

The struggling Seaiders have turned to veteran boss Mick McCarthy in a bid to avoid a return to League One.

His time in charge of the Bloomfield Road side begins with a relegation six-pointer at home to fellow bottom three outfit Huddersfield at 15:00 GMT on Saturday.

Tomorrow's EFL action kicks off at 12:30 GMT with seventh-placed Norwich's trip to Coventry.

Burnley's win tonight means that they retain their unbeaten home record in the league alongside one other team in the EFL.

That team, quite unbelievably, is Lincoln City, who are 16th in League One.

The Imps have won just two of their games at Sincil Bank but drawn the other 10.

Mark Kennedy's men welcome lowly Burton tomorrow.

Burnley battle back and they're now 19 points clear of third place.

Great, great game and a brilliant advert for second tier football.

The Baggies took an early lead through Darnell Furlong's header from a corner.

The Clarets dominated from thereon but it looked like their unbeaten home record was going to come to an end until Nathan Tella rifled in an equaliser.

Vincent Kompany's men kept going in search of a winner and Scott Twine got it with a wonderful free-kick from 20 yards out for his first goal for the club.

Promotion now surely just a matter of time for Burnley.

Tough one to take for West Brom this.

They led for so long but Burnley are just relentless at this level and the Baggies could not see it out.

Ian Maatsen is in the book for stopping a Baggies breakaway.

    WHAT AN IMPACT!

Josh Cullen is felled right on the edge of the area.

Scott Twine has had a torrid time since joining the Clarets from MK Dons in the summer but it clearly hasn't hit his confidence!

Last season's League One player of the year bagged a load of free-kicks last season and now he has his first for his new club.

It's a peach. The sub steps up and sends it over the wall and curled into the top corner.

Burnley going 19 points clear of third place.

West Brom are living on their nerves now.

A corner drops to Charlie Taylor about eight yards out and he lashes an effort at goal that the away team manage to get in the way of.

It was probably Okay Yokuslu. He seems to be in the way whenever a Clarets player has a dig.

Now the home side have a free-kick 20 yards out.

    Jeepers keepers!

Alex Palmer has looked as solid as they come in nets for West Brom this evening.

Or at least he had until just now as he almost spills a pretty hopeful cross into the path of Burnley attackers. Thankfully for the Baggies he gathers it at the second attempt.

Okay Yokuslu gets in the way of a Josh Brownhill effort.

I've got no idea how many blocks the Turkey international has made for West Brom this evening. Some shift.

Both teams go to the bench.

Scott Twins is on for goalscorer Nathan Tella for the hosts and Adam Reach is on for Grady Diangana for the Baggies.

    Seven minutes to go.

Not a stunning performance from Sheffield United but these are the wins you grind out if you're hunting for promotion.

Daniel Jebbison capped off his return to the starting line-up by scoring within four minutes and despite Hull bossing much of the second half, they couldn't find a breakthrough.

Benjamin Tetteh's sending off summed up a frustrating night for the traveling Tigers.

    All-action.

Jayson Molumby gets himself free on the inside right of the Burnley area and hits a low shot across goal.

Arijanet Muric gets down sharply to keep it out.

That's West Brom's first shot in... some time.

The referee thinks otherwise and he is right.

    Cullen fouled Grady Diangana.

Sheffield United win a free-kick in a dangerous area with less than three minutes left of injury time.

But it's wasted as the hosts tamely put it out for a goal kick no sooner does the ball enter the box.

They only need one on target and there it is. What a superb ball form Anass Zaroury and Nathan Tella with his pace causes problems.

His first touch isn't the best but what a finish, he buries into the bottom corner. Game on.

All hands on deck for West Brom!

The home side are pouring forward and getting boxes into the box.

Erik Pieters heads away a dangerous centre and then when Nathan Tella shoots for goal the ex-Clarets man gets his head in the way of it once again.
