Liverpool look so good going forward. Gakpo does well to turn and has the strength to hold the defender off and plays in Salah. When he beats two players you are just waiting for the ball to roll into the bottom corner but he just mishits.

He tried to give the keeper the eyes and ends up dragging wide of the near post.

Mohamed Salah is seeing a lot of action on the right wing. Thibaut Courtois comes to the edge of his box to catch a long ball just before the Egyptian can get there.

Great burst of pace from Victor Osimhen as Napoli break quickly. He nudges the ball past the Eintracht Frankfurt full-back but the defender recovers well to block the cross.

A fairly even start so far.

End to end as Mohamed Salah goes close to a lovely solo goal. Darwin Nunez finds Salah on the wing and he speeds away, jinking between two Real defenders before slotting a shot wide.

Sloppy defending at the back, Alisson is out of position, and Karim Benzema finds Rodrygo, whose shot is blocked.

Andy Robertson is quick off the mark to take the ball off Rodrygo in the box. The Real winger needed to act faster there.
