It was almost identical, Vinicius Jr again moves it onto his right foot. It is a good effort but well saved by Alisson.

Luka Modric's corner goes past Nacho and all the way to Vinicius Jr at the other side of the box. Vinicius shoots, basically identical to his goal, and Alisson dives to his left to palm it away. Strong wrists.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah and Jordan Henderson are wreaking havoc down that right-hand side and I have no idea how the ball has stayed out there. Real Madrid players are throwing themselves at the ball there on the goal line.

Not quite got the same level of excitement here in Frankfurt compared to Liverpool. It was a pretty open start but things have settled down now with defences on top.
