    Brighton v Liverpool (13:30 GMT)

    Terry Butcher
Ex-England captain on BBC Radio 5 Live

Brighton beat them 3-0 here a couple of games ago and did it in style.

They've outscored Liverpool over two games this season and got more points than them as well, so you have to say they are favourites today.

Liverpool know they've underperformed this season and they need to pull their finger out.

They don't want to go out with a whimper as the holders of the FA Cup.

Brighton have scored three goals in both of their meetings with Liverpool this season. The Seagulls are looking to win consecutive games against Liverpool for the first time in their history, winning 3-0 in the Premier League earlier this month.

Stoke boss Alex Neil on trying to avoid being on the receiving end of a Stevenage FA Cup upset:

"I think Steve Evans has done a great job there. They're going to come here and fancy their chances. They'll give it everything they've got and they're a hard team to beat. We're going to have to be ready for this game."

There will be up to 4,000 Stevenage fans at Stoke today - that's 300 more than watched their League Two home game with Gillingham on 2 January.

Stevenage beat Premier League Aston Villa in the last round and now face a Stoke team sitting 18th in the Championship.

"We need Stoke City to have a slight off day, we need them to miss a couple of chances at key times in the match and then we just need we just hang in there and keep ourselves in a cup tie," says Stevenage boss Steve Evans.

"And if we can do that, then we can change things, change our style and the way we play. We'll surprise a few which is what we did at Villa Park."

Brighton boss Roberto de Zerbi on facing Liverpool two weeks after defeating the Reds 3-0 in the Premier League:

I'm not going to apologise to Liverpool fans for saying this - but I just don't trust their team to deliver anymore.

They don't have the same intensity in their play that they once did under Jurgen Klopp, and it is far too easy to get through their defence, as Brighton showed when they beat them 3-0 earlier this month.

This might be an open game which, in the past would have suited the Reds. Now it plays into Brighton's hands and they look full of confidence at the moment.

I can see there being a few goals but if the Seagulls win, is it really a shock? I don't think so.

Sutton's prediction: Brighton to win 4-3.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, speaking to ITV Sport about responding to the loss at Brighton a couple of weeks ago: "We understood what happened that day and it cannot happen again and we have the chance to show that today."

On the form of Stefan Bajcetic: "He is in good form, good shape so that helps already. He played well in the last two games. Other players in the position did well but there was no reason to take him out."

On just making one change: "We are going in the right direction. We were more compact [in our last game], the front three are the same for the second time in a row, we need a little bit of consistency and for that we don't change too much."

On the FA Cup: "It was tricky for us last year, some told us it was not that big because we were fighting for other things but it is big. We felt the atmosphere at Wembley."

Stevenage's comeback to beat Aston Villa was one of the stories of round three.

Steve Evans' side are flying in League Two at the moment too, after beating leaders Leyton Orient 3-0 last weekend.

They will fancy another surprise here, especially with Stoke at the wrong end of the Championship, and I think they've got a decent chance too.

Sutton's prediction: Stevenage to win after a replay.

Brighton boss Roberto de Zerbi, speaking to ITV Sport: "It will be a different game. It will be a difficult game. We will try to win the game but we know Liverpool is a great team."

On the future of Moises Caicedo, who is the subject of interest from Arsenal: "Moises is a good guy, we will see tomorrow and the next days what happens. We hope he stays with us until the end of the season.

"In life you can make mistake. For everyone there are many solutions. We will see the best solution for him and for us."

    Brighton v Liverpool (13:30 GMT)

    Phil McNulty

The snap and spark has gone out of Liverpool's game.

There are unquestionably mitigating circumstances for Liverpool’s current malaise, with defensive lynchpin Virgil van Dijk out injured, along with the key attacking trio of Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino.

Liverpool must make up this deficit in form and intensity quickly with a Champions League last 16 game against holders Real Madrid on the horizon amid a drift away from the top four places in the Premier League.
