Leeds 3-0 Cardiff
I think that's a little harsh on Cardiff.
But the referee has disallowed the goal, I'm not sure he blocked Meslier's view.
Game over again. :)
Leeds 3-1 Cardiff
Hello, we have a VAR check.
Andy Rinomhota is right in front on Illan Meslier.
Was he blocking him? He was offside, is he interfering?
Curtis Nelson
Leeds don't clear from a corner and Kion Etete's flick-on and Curtis Nelson is brave, sticks his head on the ball and it creeps into the net.
Do we have a game?

Every time the ball goes near Wilfried Gnonto, it generates a buzz of excitement. When Leeds first signed him, Jesse Marsch suggested he might not be ready for the Premier League. I think he's firmly put that to bed.

That's twice now that the ball has been played over Tom Sang's head and he has been completely caught out of position against Wilfried Gnonto.
Leeds 3-0 Cardiff
Tom Sang kicks out at Wilfried Gnonto, who reacts angrily.
Both players are booked.

No surprise that Wilfried Gnonto scored the goal.
When Leeds make the tackle in midfield, they had acres of space to run into.
Gnonto's shot goes through the keeper's legs and his heart sinks because he can't cover that one. It's into the corner, 3-0. This tie is over. Gnonto might not even come out for the second half.

Elland Road is bouncing now.
Two goals in quick-fire succession has surely ended this as a contest. It is nothing less than Leeds deserve. They've been by far the better side and have looked dangerous every time they have come forward.
Willy Gnonto is absolute dynamite!
One word of caution for Leeds, though... they led 3-0 the last time Cardiff came here and ended up somehow drawing 3-3.

A lesser quality player would have shot first time. Rodrigo is a class above. He knows it is a difficult chance from that angle so he just waits, he waits for the keeper to come.
It's the most comfortable pass into the far corner once he takes the keeper out of the play. No blame on the keeper whatsoever, just well done Rodrigo.
That Cardiff defence has been caught over the top far too easily.

Paul Robinson
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live
When you go to a bigger opponent and you are the lesser team, you try not to concede for the first 20 minutes and keep it tight. The game plan went out the window from the first minute.
Leeds have looked sturdy, Meslier hasn't had much to do and on the break they have looked very dangerous. Once again Gnonto has been extremely impressive.
Wilfried Gnonto
This is just superb from Leeds!
Jack Harrison again, Wilfried Gnonto again, a firm finish and surely this cup tie is over?
Leeds are rampant.
Rodrigo
Cardiff's luck ran out.
Jack Harrison cuts them open and Rodrigo rounds the goalkeeper and sticks him on his backside and calmly makes it 2-0.
The goal is no less than Leeds deserve, they have been relentless.
Rodrigo's 12th goal of the season.
Leeds 1-0 Cardiff
Cardiff are riding their luck!
Sam Greenwood should score as the ball goes across the six-yard box, but his effort can't beat Joel Bagan on the line.
This time he saves the ball legally and Cardiff somehow remain only 1-0 behind.
Leeds 1-0 Cardiff
Leeds work a corner short and Jack Harrison is able to shoot, but it is straight at Jac Alnwick.
Harrison has probably never played a game with this much space before in his life. He's always available and has pulled the strings with Marc Roca.
Leeds 1-0 Cardiff
So to recap...
Leeds totally dominant.
Goal amazing.
Cardiff hardly in the game.
Yet it remains just 1-0.
I have a feeling Leeds fans won't be relaxed.
Leeds 1-0 Cardiff
Wilfried Gnonto again!
This time he races clear with another huge gap appearing in the Cardiff defence, but Jac Alnwick produces a fine save to deny him.
From the corner, Rodrigo volleys well wide at the near post.
Leeds 1-0 Cardiff
Cardiff win a freekick and a chance to sling the ball into the box.
They instead go short and Mark Harris is able to shoot from 20-yards, but his effort was tame, apologetic, almost.
Leeds 1-0 Cardiff
Leeds are playing some lovely stuff.
Jack Harrison has been central to a lot of it.
Leeds 1-0 Cardiff
Should be 2-0!
The ball goes right across the box and Wilfried Gnonto looks certain to score his second, but the ball bounced awkwardly on him and his effort went wide.
It was an easier chance than his goal, but not so easy as it first looked.
