More changes for Liverpool. Tasha Dowie and Sofie Lundgaard come on with Katie Stengel and skipper Taylor Hinds coming off.

Straight away Lundgaard gets a shot in but it's well blocked.

Chance for Villa and Rachel Daly will be disappointed not to have at least hit the target.

The corner came in from the right, Daly darted to the near post and, having lost her marker, headed wide.

Liverpool look much better since that change. Leicester's excellent keeper Janina Leitzig has to be alert again to paw away a Taylor Hinds cross from the left.

Carla Ward turns to her bench for the first time, sending on Rachel Corsie in place of Anna Patten.

Nearly a mix-up between Hannah Hampton and Anna Patten as the Villa keeper comes out to mop up after a ball over the top.

They get away with it through and Villa are back on the attack, a better cross from the left and Rachel Daly would have been in.

Better from the Reds. Twice in quick succession Melissa Lawley threatens, first driving around the left of the penalty area and seeing her cross cut out before she shoots from range but drills it straight at Janina Leitzig.

Villa are trying to pass the ball around and take the sting out of the game after Brighton's goal early in the half.

However, the home side are pressing with real energy. They might not be able to change the result but they look keen to put things right after that first-half showing.

An early sub at the start of the second half. Liverpool send on Yana Daniels for Rhiannon Roberts as Matt Beard tweaks his system somewhat.

Good feet from Leicester's Missy Goodwin, she's able to cut inside and get a shot away but there's no power behind it. Goodwin does then win a corner though.

A few injury delays in the first half mean we're slow getting back under way at Prenton Park but they're off now. Can Liverpool react? They were not good in the opening 45.

An early opportunity for Brighton to pull a goal back as Lee Geum-Min is dragged to the ground.

Villa claim the foul was outside the box but the referee points to the spot.

We're back underway at Broadfield Stadium and, unsurprisingly, Brighton have made a couple of changes.

Tottenham manager Rehanne Skinner speaking to Sky Sports: "The players have given their absolute all. We were very good for large spells of the game, just unfortunate with the goal we conceded, we weren't switched on enough for the second goal.

"In terms of the performance, the players have belief, confidence, we had quality, we had great opportunities, we just couldn't get it over the line unfortunately. We're disappointed with that.

"We were desperate to put on a really good performance for the fans today and I think we did that."

On losing seven matches in a row: "I'm pleased with the way performances are improving. We've been so close in three different games - Aston Villa, Chelsea, this game today. We're so close to getting a result. We've shown some real quality in what we've been able to do."

Liverpool boss Matt Beard won't be best pleased with the way his side played in the first half. Their only chances came through Megan Campbell's long throws but they did little in the way of troubling Janina Leitzig.

Leicester are on the cusp of what could be a huge victory. They're only a point behind second-bottom Reading with a game in hand as it stands.

Ruby Mace has been a cool presence since her return at the base of midfield. The Foxes have been composed and are strolling towards the three points.

Manchester United

Manchester United manager Marc Skinner speaking to Sky Sports: "We're here to try and attack, that's the Manchester United style, so to come back in this kind of nature, once we conceded which wasn't good enough from us, shows the true character of the team."

Was he disappointed with first-half performance? "Absolutely. I expect us to move the ball quicker. We were a little bit passive and that's not us. We'll work on that and come back better next time. Hopefully you saw that in the second half."

On his team's response to equaliser: "They never cease to amaze me in the way that they do it. They have shown a real growth to wanting to be successful. Even what was thrown at us in the game, we've come out the other end and won the game."

On Ella Toone's sending off: "We want our players to shown passion, commitment, energy. It was play acting in my opinion. Obviously with Ella we'll look at that. I want to see that from Ella - I want to see passion in our players. It's something we'll work on internally we have to be accountable. I will appeal that red card.

"We're title contenders, that's what we want to be. That's not a pressure. Being a Man Utd manager and player - there's pressure. For us it's much more about coming out the other side of that pressure and enjoy it.

"Winners aren’t just created overnight. I’m not surprised by the players and the ambitions of the club, but we’re accelerating that and trying to do something which is very difficult to do - which is win when we haven’t got that in our history yet."

Liverpool have been very poor. Leicester are 45 minutes away from a massive win in the WSL.

The Brighton players got together in a huddle just outside their own area after the fifth goal and they will be glad of the chance to properly regroup now.

The home side went in front early but Villa surged back and turned the game on its head with three goals in eight minutes, added two more before the break and are in complete control.
