Dango Ouattara's pace is a real outlet for Bournemouth. He gets away down the right and loops a ball into the box. It looks a bad cross initially but it drops nicely for Phil Billing, who is capable of spectacular goals but he completely mis-hits it.

Liverpool are preparing more changes as Roberto Firmino, Jordan Henderson and James Milner prepare to come on.

A let off for Liverpool!

Phil Billing's sends an in swinger towards the far post and Marcos Senesi jumps but misses his header. If he connected then that would have been a goal.

Bournemouth haven't attacked much but when they do they get good numbers up. Dominic Solanke has three in support as he tries to get in on the left but Liverpool deal with the danger.

The home fans are making plenty of noise. They know how big a win in this game would be.

Lots of pressure from Liverpool at the moment but the Bournemouth defence is keeping their opponents out. It is certainly not looking like a high-scoring second half for the visitors anyway.

Cody Gakpo races forward but is pulled back by Jaidon Anthony, who is booked, and Liverpool have a free kick 35 yards from goal.

The ball is sent and Darwin Nunez heads onto the roof of the net, but he's offside anyway.

Diogo Jota is straight into the thick of things as he drives through the middle before curling a shot towards the far corner but Neto dives well to push away.

Former England striker Peter Crouch on BT Sport: "This is a huge opportunity for Bournemouth but there will be that nagging feeling at the back of their minds that they've thrown points away form winning positions.

"You'd also expect Liverpool to be much, much better in the second half."

Jurgen Klopp is clearly not happy with that first-half display as Diogo Jota comes on for Harvey Elliott.

Bournemouth's record when winning isn't the best but if the Cherries can cling on this will be a big win for them as it would move them out of the relegation zone.
