Luton have a penalty, for handball by Cedric Kipre.

The ball was bouncing in the area from Alfie Doughty's free-kick and referee Geoff Eltringham points to the spot, despite Cardiff protests.

Fred Onyedinma and Luke Berry are on for Luton, with Cauley Woodrow and Cody Drameh - somewhat surprisingly given his performance - making way.

Luton come forward with more purpose as Elijah Adebayo holds the ball up well and then exchanges passes with Cody Drameh.

Adebayo's low cross is dangerous but Ryan Allsop dives to pish the ball to safety.

Cardiff's fans are making plenty of noise here.

They sense their team have a chance to claim a long-awaited victory.

We mentioned before the break that Luton had enough chances especially from the right, however nothing's troubled Ryan Allsop.

Luton have only won three home league games all season, which is remarkable given that they are firmly in play-off contention.

They need some inspiration if they are to improve that record tonight.

Another Cardiff counter has Luton scrambling for a moment, but Sheyi Ojo's touch is heavy and the moment is gone.

Cardiff eventually take the free-kick, which is in a dangerous area.

There is nothing dangerous about the free-kick, though, as Sheyi Ojo sends the ball into the crowd.
