  1. DOUBLE SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 86 mins

    Birmingham 2-0 West Brom

Birmingham waste a few more seconds as Scott Hogan - who scored a hat-trick in Blues' 3-2 win at The Hawthorns earlier in the season - is replaced by Troy Deeney.

    Harlee Dean is on too.

  2. Postpublished at 84 mins

    Birmingham 2-0 West Brom

Bit of a to-do on the touchline as Auston Trusty wins a throw-in and Baggies full-back Darnell Furlong grabs a hold of him.

Both players go down. Trusty is on a yellow, although he wasn't really at fault for that little clash.

  3. Postpublished at 83 mins

    Birmingham 2-0 West Brom

Very confident claim from John Ruddy relieves a short burst of West Brom pressure.

Not long now for Birmingham to hold on.

  4. Postpublished at 81 mins

    Birmingham 2-0 West Brom

Carlos Corberan getting animated on the sidelines.

West Brom need that energy on the pitch - they haven't really had it all night to be honest.

  5. Postpublished at 78 mins

    Birmingham 2-0 West Brom

Big slice of luck for Birmingham as Krystian Bielik's ball back towards his own goal looked to have been presenting John Swift with a golden chance.

But it hits Kevin Long and ricochets away harmlessly.

There's still time for West Brom to get back into this. The one thing Blues don't want to do is drop deeper and deeper.

Albion have started moving the ball quicker with John Swift and his quality and Jed Wallace is coming more into the game.

Largely down to his dodgy disciplinary record, Hannibal Mejbri doesn't tend to see out too many games for Blues.

But tonight he has made a far more notable entry in the Birmingham City stats book.

A goal and an assist to add to this season's nine bookings.

It'll sure be a quieter place without the manic Manchester United youngster - but he may already have done enough to win Blues this derby! Top stuff from the Tunisian.

Ref 21.24 entry and 67mins entry - Clark Kent [could stop a pig in a phone box]!

    Sam, Leicester

West Brom could do with Superman right now...

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 72 mins

    Birmingham 2-0 West Brom

Hannibal Mejbri's night is over. A goal and an assist - I'm sure he'll take that.

A rapturous ovation from the Blues fans, and he's replaced by highly-rated youngster George Hall.

  10. Postpublished at 71 mins

    Birmingham 2-0 West Brom

West Brom getting a bit desperate as a cross ricochets off Maxime Colin's heel to John Ruddy and the Baggies appeal for a backpass.

If he meant that, he's better than Messi and Ronaldo combined.

Carlos Corberan had to do something desperate now because this game is slipping away from Albion. They have to try different things to get a goal from somewhere.

  12. DOUBLE SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 69 mins

    Birmingham 2-0 West Brom

Final two rolls of the dice from Carlos Corberan - will it be a double six?

Karlan Grant and Adam Reach on for Daryl Dike and Conor Townsend, whose head wound had opened up again. He must have been running out of shirts.

That's all five subs used by West Brom now.

  13. Postpublished at 67 mins

    Birmingham 2-0 West Brom

Re: 21:24 entry, could anyone actually stop a pig in a phone box?

Anyway, Albion stop Blues' latest corner this time. But there's an air of expectation among the St Andrew's faithful every time they get a set-piece near the Baggies' goal.

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 64 mins

    Birmingham 2-0 West Brom

Jutkiewicz was booked as he left the field then.

The referee wanted him to go off on the far side, opposite the benches, as that was where he was nearest.

He ignores the official and sees yellow for it.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 64 mins

    Birmingham 2-0 West Brom

Blues bring off Lukas Jutkiewicz as Gary Gardner comes on, with a more defensive-minded approach likely in John Eustace's thoughts.

  16. Ruddy good savepublished at 63 mins

    Birmingham 2-0 West Brom

Two West Brom subs combine with their best move of the game as Brandon Thomas-Asante's direct running tees up John Swift.

His shot from around 20 yards takes a nick off a defender but John Ruddy reacts well to palm it wide.

  17. Postpublished at 61 mins

    Birmingham 2-0 West Brom

Blues carve the Baggies open down the left with a simple one-two between Hannibal Mejbri and Tahith Chong.

The latter floats in a lovely ball for Scott Hogan but Birmingham's leading scorer heads over the angle of post and bar.

    Decent chance that.

  19. Postpublished at 58 mins

    Birmingham 2-0 West Brom

Bit of a reality check, this, for those onlookers who thought West Brom were going to waltz into the play-offs after their impressive form under Carlos Corberan.

Still a lot of football to be played this season. Still half hour left in this game for the Baggies to rescue something, mind.

  20. TRIPLE SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 55 mins

    Birmingham 2-0 West Brom

Well, it's going to take something special for West Brom to get back into this.

Carlos Corberan responds to the concession of that second goal by making a triple change.

Okay Yokuslu, Grady Diangana and Marc Albrighton are the men hooked. Brandon Thomas-Asante, Nathan Chalobah and John Swift enter the fray.
