    A good dose of drama to finish the evening off there! Penalties are always nerve-wracking if you support the teams or not!

    Congratulations to Plymouth and commiserations to Cheltenham.

    Earlier in the Championship we saw Millwall equalise late on to deny Burnley a win - meaning the Clarets have a lead of 12 points at the top of the league - and Norwich claim a 3-1 home win over Birmingham.

    There were also wins for Blackburn, Rotherham and Stoke.

    Plymouth beat Cheltenham 3-2 on penalties

    There's always drama with penalties! A great way to win, a horrible way to lose.

    It's Plymouth who will be in the EFL Trophy final at the start of April, with Accrington or Bolton their opponents at Wembley.

    Those two clubs meet in the other semi-final tomorrow night.

    • Adam Mayor scores a second-half winner for Morecambe at home to Port Vale. Victory lifts Morecambe out of the bottom four by a point.
    • Shaun Rooney’s goal two minutes from time gives Fleetwood victory against Cambridge at Highbury. Cambridge are now second from bottom with Fleetwood 13th.

    • Burnley missed the chance to go 14 points clear as Tom Bradshaw came off the bench to score his fourth goal in two games and rescue a point for Millwall after Ashley Barnes had given the Clarets the lead.
    • Norwich beat Birmingham City 3-1 thanks to a first-half double from Marcelino Nunez - his first a spectacular volley - and a late Christos Tzolis strike.
    • Tyrhys Dolan's goal after 31 minutes was enough for Blackburn to overcome Blackpool.
    • Stoke recovered from going behind after two minutes to turn the game around and win 3-1 thanks to Josh Laurent's double and Lewis Baker's late strike.
    • Rotherham earned a valuable three points in their battle against relegation, with Ollie Rathbone and Shane Ferguson securing a 2-1 win over play-off-chasing Sunderland.
